    Yes, you are right, but I do think this will work though. As long as I have Barrage active it will lock in my R. Acc. gear. /ungiveup! Yay.

    For the Skadi feet part of the question, I basically just need to know if there is something that I can do to lock/unlock my feet slot like a toggle or something. If I am kiting or running after something whenever I RA it will switch my feet to my Scout Socks, so I just want a way to choose to keep my Skadi feet on even if doing something else that would trigger a gear change.

    I hope that makes sense, it even sounds convoluted to me.

    Will the lock script also work for buffs like Sneak attack and Trick attack?? Does the lock mean the gear will stay locked until the buff symbol on the top of you screen is gone?

    The gear will lock if you do an action that would change your gear while the buff is on. Once the buff is gone, your slot won't unlock until you do another /ja, /ma, etc. If you want it to swap exactly when the buff drops, you need Autoexec.

    The simplest way to do this is with a "group". I'll try to explain.

    Currently, your <sets> section of your code probably looks something like this (with a lot of lines omitted for brevity). If it doesn't already have it, make sure that you have the group definition around the sets.

    </sets>
    Something along those lines. Now, what you're trying to do is make it so that your feet stay as Skadi's, always. The easiest way to do this is to define a second group. I'm not omitting lines this time, so put exactly this code (with the right set names, of course) below the "</group>", but above the "</sets>" at the very end:

        </group>
    Then, when you want to switch to "kited mode", type (or make a macro) this command in game:

    /sc group kited
    You'll get a little console popup telling you it switched groups to "kited". Since kited inherits from your normal group, everything will work identically except that it overwrote the feet slot for "shooting" and "ws" swaps.

    Let me know if that isn't clear or if you need some more info.

    Can anyone link me to their NIN setup please. The converted xml of the ones on windower website seem to not work properly for me. For example gear changes, but won't change back, gear won't change at night, etc. Thanks!

    Got all the errors worked out that were missed on like 20 lines and now it says error line 0 error reading elemental value. It's my pld spellcast and this has never came up before. Any ideas?

    Anyone having trouble with Devotee's Mitts? Mine never equip. I've tried <hands>Devotee's Mitts</hands> and have also tried abbreviating it 30 dif ways and changing caps on letters and..ya desperation..just never changes to the gloves..and the slot is not locked..i dont get it ; ;

    Mine work fine, post your whole XML?

    Edit: well, actually, mine are +1s, but I can't see any reason that the NQs wouldn't work.

    I think the easiest way to handle that is to just move the part where you check MP% and swap in the pendant to your little section for nukes. That way instead of checking for your MP% on every spell, it only checks it on spells where MAB is actually being used.

    Don't know how your current rule looks, but adding that to your <if > that equips Ugg pendant I think should solve the issue, correct me if I'm wrong.^^

    So I tried using spellcast before and the game would crash every time I did anything. Long story short I downloaded the latest 2.3 RC12? I think and it works fine without crashing.

    I'm using the BLM template thats on the spellcast forum, I've removed the regex() command as it was causing errors and a few other rules. Basically my problem is every time I cast a spell the game locks for about 1/2 second before my gear is changed and I start casting. Is there anything I should look at to fix this?

    I'd post my XML but its on my home computer currently and I'm at work. There are no XML errors when loading.

    Sounds like some combination of your computer being slow and the XML being inefficient.

    Is the game actually "locking"? Or are you just mistaking a precast wait (usually used to swap in Fast Cast gear) with an actual lock-up?

    The computer isn't slow. Its a Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5ghz w/ 4 gigs ram Vista x64. No, the game actually locks up as in all animations stop for 1/2 second.
