Code:
<if status="engaged">
<if hppgt="40">
<equip when="engaged|aftercast" set="Engaged" />
</if>
<elseif hpplt="40">
<equip when="engaged|aftercast" set="evasion" />
</elseif>
</if>
Another incorrect implementation. This is an <if><else> pairing, not an <if><elseif>. If you want to know why, tell me what gear set you use when you have exactly 40% HP left.

The remainder has a few things I'd nitpick if I were doing an official review, but nothing that should break. If it's still not working, it would be time to switch over to debug mode.

Ok clearly i must be an idiot, because i have tried everything and i am not getting Autoexec to work, i have tried reinstalling windower, etc and still no go. Interestingly when i download (windower, spellcast etc) its not creating folders, i have to manually create those. But i can get spellcast to work perfectly.

So ok i have done the following:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windower\plugins is where i have saved both Spellcast.dll and AutoExec.dll.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windower\plugins\Spellcast i have saved my War.xml and include.xml (again all Haberym's except with only changes to gear, he has some pieces i am missing....)

I have under C:\Program Files (x86)\Windower\plugins\AutoExec Haberym's AutoExec file saved as "AutoExec.xml"

What am i doing wrong, because, i can't get autoexec to work (i.e. swap in restraint gear or aftermath)

Thanks for your time

You can put it in your initi.txt file like every other plugin, but in game //load autoexec will work.

yep it is. And i am stumped, I think it has to be the Autoexe. With my vast years of xml programing experience (/sarcasm) i think its this:

The Autoexec reads as follows

<register silent="true" event="losebuff_Restraint">sc var set Restraint N;input /ws "Dancing Chains"</register>
<register silent="true" event="gainbuff_Restraint">sc var set Restraint Restraint;input /ws "Dancing Chains""</register>
<register silent="true" event="losebuff_Blood*">sc var set BloodRage N</register>
<register silent="true" event="gainbuff_Blood*">sc var set BloodRage BloodRage</register>
<register event="gainbuff_Mighty*|losebuff_Mighty*" silent="true">input /weaponskill "Goblin Gavotte" <t></register>
<register event="gainbuff_Aftermath|losebuff_Aftermath" silent="true">input /weaponskill "Netherspikes" <t></register>

Should it be this:

<register silent="true" event="losebuff_Restraint">sc var set Restraint N;input /ws "Dancing Chains"</register>
<register silent="true" event="gainbuff_Restraint">sc var set Restraint Restraint;input /ws "Dancing Chains""</register>
<register silent="true" event="losebuff_Blood*">sc var set BloodRage N</register>
<register silent="true" event="gainbuff_Blood*">sc var set BloodRage BloodRage</register>
<register silent="true" event="gainbuff_Mighty*|losebuff_Mighty*">input /weaponskill "Goblin Gavotte" <t></register>
<register silent="true" event="gainbuff_Aftermath|losebuff_Aftermath">inpu t /weaponskill "Netherspikes" <t></register>

would that work?

Take out all the Addtochat things and your chat log will no longer clear.

I noticed mine does that now too, maybe something changed in a newer version of spellcast.

get rid of the <me>

just use /ma "Herb Pastoral"

Its never going to cast. You don't need the target.

I"ve been updating my bst xml
http://pastebin.com/9waYKfiP

However, since I've updated it, my swaps for ready moves don't proc.

Code:
<elseif spell="$Ready1|$Ready2|$Ready3|$Ready4|$Ready5|$Ready6|$Ready7">
<castdelay delay="$Delay-JA" />
<equip when="precast" set="PET-ACC|PET-ATT|PET-MACC|Sic" />
</elseif>
In my old version, it was originally working.
http://pastebin.com/hvAtijMy

I was listing out each move like below, but even if I do it this way in my new one it doesn't work.

Code:
<if spell="Backheel|Drainkiss|TP Drainkiss|Suction|Acid mist|Sic|Sheepsong|sheepcharge|lamb chop|Rage|Spiral spin|Noisome Powder|Sudden lunge|Blaster|Chaotic eye|Charged Whisker|Toxic spit|Cyclotail|Geist wall|Numbing noise|Scythe tail|Chomp Rush|Ripper fang|Cursed sphere|Venom|Tail blow|Blockhead|Brain crush|Secretion|Infrasonics|Fireball|Sorporific|Gloeosuccus|Palsy pollen|Frogkick|Queasyshroom|Silence Gas|Razor fang|Roar|Claw cyclone|Numbshroom|Spore|Dark spore|Shakeshroom|Foot kick|Whirl claws|Snow cloud|Wild carrot|Head butt|Wild oats|Leaf dagger|Scream">
<action type="Equip" when="precast" set="Sic"/>
</if>
I've tried this in the PetCommand Section, JobAbility Section, and outside any of those sections (as it is now). I've tried it w/ the Current variables, and with the list of Ready Moves.

Any ideas why it won't proc the abiltities?

I know it can work, because I used to have it working... I like my updated XML alot better except that the ready moves are broken.

I got two responses within the Random Questions section, but I'm still looking for more responses (Since the answers received implied using the limited method):

Do people use different TP sets when more than one JA buff is active?

For instance, some people have a "Berserk Set" and a "Last Resort Set." If you have both abilities up, do you use one set over the other or do you use a set completely different from both of them?

The reason I ask is because I'm considering changing the format from

ex: TP-Weapon-TP Mode-Berserk-Impetus-LR-Etc

to

ex: TP-Weapon-TP_Mode|Berserk-TP_Mode|Impetus-TP_Mode|LR-TP_Mode|etc

This latter format is more limited in that buff gear from the right-most side will override. So if Impetus and Berserk sets conflict, in this example, Impetus will override Berserk gear and that might lead to unforeseen haste distortions.

The benefit is that you can account for a large amount of buffs without weird looking TP sets.

Instead of

<set name="TP-Weapon-TP_Mode1-Berserk-Impetus">
<set name="TP-Weapon-TP_Mode1-Berserk-*">
<set name="TP-Weapon-TP_Mode1-*-Impetus">

<set name="TP-Weapon-TP_Mode2-Berserk-Impetus">
<set name="TP-Weapon-TP_Mode2-Berserk-*">
<set name="TP-Weapon-TP_Mode2-*-Impetus">

You get

<set name="TP-Weapon-TP_Mode">
<set name="Berserk_Active-*">
<set name="Impetus_Active-*">

The sacrifice you make is that you can *never* account for having two JA buffs up (At least without slight modifications). However, you can account for what TP mode you have active.

* Note that Impetus and Berserk are just examples. You can really replace them with whatever buff you can think of.

I'm not using multiple sets for buffs.
Usually if a buff makes that much of a difference, then the set for the biggest buff is what what determines the set.
For bst, that's Killer Instinct.
Otherwise I'm just changing mode between pet and master, which is separate.
