Yes, that's most likely the bug. I had the same problem with brd, using Pianissimo. I'll put together a similar fix for sch.

Awesome, thanks Mote!
Ok, did a significant overhaul of my sch xml. Should fix the bugs, as well as streamline a few things. Tidied up the queuing info, and revamped how magic sets are configured to match up with CastingMode as well. Doesn't separate out sets by Light Arts/Dark Arts anymore; figure the lower complexity helps speed it up a bit, and there's replacements for gear that's Arts-dependant now that should cover most situations. I might have left it in if not for the fact that, even as it is, I'm at 77/80 inventory, so the space is probably better used on more general-purpose gear.
Looking for some help - never used spellcast before, and am a bit of retard when it comes to this kind of thing.
I downloaded spellcast and put it in my windower plugin folder. When i call up the windower interface in game and type /load spellcast, I get an error message.
What am I doing wrong? I run windows 7 x64.
Is it an error message that crashes FFXI or a windower console error message (red text?)
Your resources are probably outdated. I think these are up to date, and you specifically need to download "resources.xml" manually because it doesn't update when you do //updateresources in the console.
http://resources.windower.net
Post the Spellcast you downloaded and make sure there aren't any "include" lines.
Nope. Doesn't crash FFXI or windower. GW login doesn't always prompt now since I dropped spellcast.dll into my plugins folder though. that's about it, and the error message.
The message i get is "Error: Spellcastin- failed to load plugin- (126)module not found.
And I re-downloaded windower from their site and it said it was up-to date.
Yugl I will post it in the follow up msg to this one.

Make a folder named "spellcast" (no quotes) and add the XML to that folder. Name the XML YourName_RDM.xml and save the XML within the spellcast folder. The spellcast folder should be where the other .dlls are.
This might be a reason?
If you Idle in a piece of gear (#1), precast swap into another piece (#2) and try midcast swap back into idle piece (#1) - it won't load. You would need to manually set a midcastdelay=0.6 (or more) for this swapping to work properly. You basically swap gear too fast for spellcast to keep up.
There are only few pieces that cause this problem, ie BRD AF3+2 feet(idle AF3+2->precast AF2+2->midcast AF3+2).
A workaround for this for Embrava I'm using - basically use full 500-skill gear in precast.
Another reason for gear not swapping properly might be, if you use precast->midcast swaps, but don't specify midcastdelay= In such situation precast and midcast get processed instantly together at the start of casting.
still getting same error.
how do i manually update "resources"?
There are two resources locations.
resources folder > delete all the stuff within that folder
within the plugins folder, there is a script called resources > delete the script named resources
then type //updateresources while in game. Looking for that module error now though.
If updating resources doesn't work, try removing
from the XML too (Should do that anyways). Some other people had that issue when they installed two instances of windower as well.Code:\';lkjhgfyu
double.
updating resources does nothing now.
I think im just going to delete all instances of windower and install from scratch.
There was a post on FFXIAH where someone had the same 126 module error due to installments of windower. Your issue could also be due to the UAC level according to this thread.
Yes, delete all instances of windower, I'm fairly sure that's your issue. I helped someone with the same thing a while back and that's the only thing that worked.
