    Having trouble making a set for VW that puts me into that set if voidwatcher status is active. Currently using Yugl's MNK XML.
    Tried a few things, but never worked. A few I tried were one's I've seen others use, which may be the problem.

    That's the only one I remembered actually trying, lol. If anyone could help with a little code to setup a VW set, I'd be grateful.

    Make a new group and edit the rule to change the area.

    The way this is written to me your in a continuous loop because of the <command>wait 1.8;%Spell %SpellTargetRaw;</command> is run before footwork is set and will execute over and over before hitting the footwork line.

    Basically I would change it slightly to something more like:

    I am wondering does the code you have some how factor for possible interrupts? Such as a stun or sleep, anything that could stop berserk from firing but the variable being set as if everything fired without interruption?

    If it doesnt, would there be a way to write fail safes in for such a situation?

    Thank you, I think I may have gotten it to work. The SC stopped the error message, but ungeared atm and about to sleep. Will check tomorrow morning^^

    Edit: Nevermind, I lied. Not quite sure if I know how to edit a rule to change the area. I tried typing "/spellcast group Outside-NM" which changed the group, but once I engaged it went back to Outside-R.

    With Ja like berserk and such u could use a buffactive test to verify the ability fired successfully immediately after the ability is used with a fake spell command in the after cast. The code would start to get crazy long to test after each buff ouch....

    OK so I use "dancing chains" to handle after cast actions/set varibles/etc. Would that work? If so how exactly would I want to write the code? Any help would be great. If you want to over look my XML for MNK it is here: http://guildwork.com/characters/ffxi...ikia/spellcast

    Can I please get some help. The xml isn't switching to Warriors Charge set. The Variable and Buff Active were already there. I added the Warriors Charge set and the $Warriors_Charge to the WS lines, but no luck. Please help. Thank you!

    So, I was looking into editing my MNK spellcast to use the stacked set calls to simplify some of my code, but it appears my autoset isn't working. Every other equip call I've done in this way appears to work normally, it's just the call for autoset->engaged or autoset->idle that doesn't seem to work.

    I turned on debug, and it appears to be processing the steps so I'm not sure what the problem is. Does autoset just not like sets stacked together in this way?

    Basically it'll load without errors, but it won't actually change gear or anything. Outside of Salvage it works normally. I tried reloading it (both it specifically and spellcast as a whole) a few times to no avail.

    Try commenting that out and see if the XML works.

    Well, the debug says autoset is true, status = engaged is true, shows processing gear for Engage, then BlankSet, and then BlankSet again. Checks the rest of the rules which are false. But normally there's a step where all the logic is done processing, and the raw equip commands are actually fired to the game, and it isn't happening, but only on autoset.

    As for you're alternative, I don't understand how to write it. As far as I can tell, a Spellcast based off of yours makes the game think Dancing Chains was fired at the beginning of every Spellcast iteration, which is caught by a Trigger Set 1, but I'm not sure how that helps me with autoset.
