    Hmm that would make a difference? I had it that way so that cures and cura would all work, I guess I could just do cure*|cura* instead, I'll try that thanks (Or were you talking about skill vs spell?)

    Just noticed after recently downloading the newest spellcast (lol.. idk why I didn't download in december..) that now my gear isn't changing correctly for most weaponskills. I checked my equip when I hit ws, and it was using my 'genericwsgear' instead of the set for the ws I used. Here's a link. Don't mind my lolgear. ^^; http://pastebin.com/Az7DnNWr

    I don't see anything wrong with your WS rule at first glance (other than it being a bit over-complicated)

    I've noticed on scourge and resolution. Spamming my trials currently so haven't really tested anything else lol.

    @being over complicated, I just used someone else's XML and out my gear in. Noticed a bunch of things I don't even use anymore lol. Coming back from break and not updating everything ftw.

    Well that fixed it thanks! So are abilities/ws under skill then? Because I thought I've been using spell for those as well.

    Edit: Whats the diff then between spell and skill on sc? And is there a place with a mini guide to it or something? I've basically just been getting by using trial and error and would be really nice to actually see what the dif is between certain things and when I can use just if vs elseif vs else etc.

    My DRK spellcast is randomly not working now. Which is odd since I don't remember changing anything and I haven't used it in like 2ish weeks, was going to edit it to include Ogier's Helm that I got recently and when changing jobs noticed the error. Tried looking thru the code myself for any broken tags but didn't see anything(its over 1000 lines so possible I missed it). After checking it at XML validator the error message is opening and ending tag mismatch aimed at the last line </spellcast>. I use Nightfyre's as a base, didn't give me any issues before until today.

    1. You removed </variables> from the variable area
    2. You cannot use <if mode="OR" buffactive="silence|mute|Omerta" SpellTargetDistanceGT="17+$Distance">, you need to use advanced. Unsure if this is correct (If not, you need to setcalc the variable), but added this instead: <if mode="OR" buffactive="silence|mute|Omerta" advanced='%SpellTargetDistance &gt; $Distance + 16'>
    3. You tried to comment out a section, but didn't comment the entire section, so you had an extra </if> around the dark magic rules

    Really not sure how that variable closing tag got taken out, don't remember touching it. Maybe I should just not leave Notepad++ open on late nights anymore. That fixed it though, thanks.

    Ok I'm back again. Now that my gear swaps work (what a difference in damage to use my actual ws sets now.... /facepalm), I notice that my body doesn't switch back to my melee or aftermath body. Every other piece changes.alkost tempted to just find a newer drk XML to work off of lol.

    I recently finished my apoc and have been ripping my hair out trying to get my aftermath/autoexec to work. The sets change when I manually hit a JA so I'm assuming that it is maybe just autoexec that needs tweaking? The xcast is a rather new one I have been putting together specifically for my apoc, but haven't added anything else since I have hit this snag on my aftermath sets. http://pastebin.com/pvggxjRP Here is the link to xml in progress. It's pretty much made up of aftermath rules I have found on other forums since I am new to autoexec. I have seen the other templates around here for DRK, but I honestly like using my own simply for clarity and would really like to get this one working if possible.

    Is causing your TP set not aftermath to be set aftercast no matter if you have aftermath or not. Basically it looks like when you gain aftermath you tell it aftercast to put on TP and precast to put on Aftermath set.

    Trying to redo my wife's BRD XML since it's a tad outdated at this point. If I'm trying setting up her songs to have song precast gear to lower singing time, but wanting to only have skill gear if Nightingale is active does it look like this?

    Thanks for the quick reply Wheeldog, I wanted to respond yesterday but couldn't due to overposting??? But I've tried altering the rules a few times to be more direct in which sets to equip but still not seeming to get the effect I want. I also tried just taking that line you linked out entirely but didn't seem to change much either. No matter what it seems to only trigger my aftermath sets after I manually use a JA or disengage and then engage again. Anything you notice that you think I could specifically change would be a huge help. Thanks in advance.
    Edit: Also realize that if there is a buff in front of my Aftermath buff on status bar that it also doesn't equip aftermath set.
