    Ok so after trying for about 4'th time I cant seem to become a member at windower.net so i figured i would post my spellcast here and see if anyone could help me out.
    Registration keeps saying invalid when i register. Main problem is the following:

    A) it doesnt equip my pluto's staff when i /heal

    B) It doesnt equip my Graiai earring when i change sorc ring from 0 to 1.

    C) When sorc ring is 1 it randomly decides to nuke in - hp gear not swiching me back to nuking gear.

    D) when i finish my trial staffs how do i get it to use those instead of hq staffs.


    Thanks for any support, sorry for having to post this here just tired of wasting 3M worth of gear for sorc ring.

    1: Change all your "$Pluto's Staff" to either "Pluto's Staff" or "$DarkStaff"
    2: Graiai Earring is messed up, check a few pages back.
    3: Very fast spells? Not seeing anything wrong here
    4: Change the Variable <Element>Staff value to the new staff name if completely replacing it, otherwise add a 2nd set of variables (nuking in one set, enfeebling/idle in another)

    So is there any fix to graiai earring or should i sell it and buy other sorc ring build gear? Also thanks a ton!

    since its

    maybe just ingame macro have it on first line and nuke on second so it then uses spellcast set?

    Doesn't work, look back a few pages and contact the poster who had the same issue, if he fixed it.

    So spellcast has worked fine for me, except after the update this week I get the following message in my console window every time it tries to do anything: Spellcast: Error in Advanced: Unknown function BUFFACTIVE()
    I tried downloading a fresh install of spellcast, and I haven't changed my autoexec setting at all since the update to induce this issue. Anyone else have this and have it be an easy fix?

    EDIT: Problem solved, in the process of trying to fix it earlier I had apparently downloaded 2.2 from the windower frontpage, when my XML was designed for 2.30 causing the error, all is well.

    Sorry if this has been mentioned before- Just finished Indra's Staff +1 and my spellcast crashes my game. Any word on an updated resource.xml? Or any quick fix. ; ;

    If you run your .xml files in Firefox, it'll typically point out any basic syntax errors.

    I've been using Spellcast without any issues for 6 months or so now. I was using it all day, no big deal, until I went to execute a command after being afk awhile and nothing happened. So, I opened up the console and loaded up Spellcast again and windower immediately crashed.

    So, I logged back in a few hours later, attempted to load Spellcast and it said:

    File loaded: Default.xml
    Current Group: INIT_LOAD
    Groups: 0 Sets: 0 Rules: 0 Vars: 0

    After typing /sc load Chastiti_WHM.xml to try and get my set back, it came up with:

    Runtime Error!

    This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
    Please contact that application's support team for more information.

    and then windower immediately crashed again. I'm pretty sure I'm zero percent capable of playing this game without spellcast.

    Help? Anyone? Please?

    Edit: This started happening after I got my Tantra Hose +1, if that matters.

    UNTIL THERE IS A RESOURCES UPDATE, ALL NEW GEAR WILL CRASH SPELLCAST.

    I would imagine an update would be coming soon, they're usually on top of this sort of thing after a big patch day.

    There's a quick fix on the windower forum, requires adding each new item you want to use to the proper xml file, its rather simple though. Post #1 and #3 detail it all.

    I'm mainly using a SMN xml based on DAKPluto's template from the windower site, when I run it, the console says it could not find group INIT_LOAD or a default group. There is nothing in my xml at all about INIT_LOAD and I have never seen it before, so I don't know what to do. Here's the XML

    FYI in case anyone is having problems now~

    If you restart the Windower or type //updateresources, it seems as if the resource files were updated. Unfortunately, the new spells are wrong.

    The prefix "song" means that any attempt to cast Boost-VIT with Spellcast will result in it rewriting the command as /song "Boost-VIT" which, obviously, will not work. Also, the incorrect cast time will probably mess up gear swaps.

    The solution is to edit plugins\resources\spells.xml file and edit the lines with the incorrect spells. The lazy way is to just delete the lines with spells that have incorrect spells.
