    It looks like you have something terribly wrong going on just looking at the format. I can't specify atm, but it looks like you're missing an if somewhere.

    Edit: "Action type="Default Target"" seems to be the issue. Take it out all of them and see if it works.

    Not even sure what you're trying to do there to be honest. By format, I mean the lining up. If you use the SC checker, you can tell where errors are based on formation.

    Historically, I believe that SpellCast once had no default target, and lines such as that were useful. These days, the default target is <t>, so it's redundant.

    I had this happen, I had a bad resources.xml and it kept wanting to pull from the old server. Manually replaced the files from windower.net and then all was well. Others had this issue and there were some instructions on windower forums.

    I recently made this, but I haven't had anyone to test it thoroughly, but I did get a response saying it at least works (No error when upload). However, you'll NEED the include.xml file which is here: http://pastebin.com/7Ge0sPz2

    Edit: The XML is currently using Potency sets for resist sets. You'll need to add changes to the resist sets yourself.

    Is there anyway to have spellcast only cancel Ichi, when only one shadow is left? AoA is getting annoying with its instant casting when spellcast just cancels the new shadows, and I have to re-apply them.

    I don't understand what you mean here, only cancel Ichi? You mean <return /> midcast if you have 3/4 shadows instead of <command> cancel 66</command> or what have you?

    There's no perfect work around to this yet. And it doesn't sound like the spellcast dev will consider any special triggers for 'instant magic.' But you can throw in conditional sets to the command cancel.

    Merely come to a conclusion on what acceptable cancels are for you. Me? I'd acceptably cancel 1 or 2 shadows for an Ichi cast. I wouldn't acceptably cancel 3 or 4 (as NIN main). So the command cancel must exist within an if clause based on your current buff situation. It seems to be the best solution without getting into heavy variables that most likely will leave you second guessing if they're 'working as you intend.'

    Ideally I only want it to cancel Ichi if there is only 1-2 shadows remaining. Right now I have cancle 66. So if I hit my macro it will cancel no matter what number of shadows are remaining.

    I think what you're trying to say and what you're saying aren't jiving. But I get what you mean.

    Normally where you have your <command>cancel 66</command> encase that with an <if BuffActive= element using Copy Image (1) and Copy Image (2). And you shouldnt' cancel 3+ shadows ever again.

    Edit: I suppose this could be an issue since the if BuffActive check happens on cast, instead of 2.5 seconds in. Then we still have a problem.

    Edit Again: There's seemingly no safe way to do it. The levels of the rule parse immediately, the actions happen at predetermined intervals. So no manner of If's are going to get this perfectly clean. You either force it to cancel (canceling the status for all or 2 shadows), or you don't have it cancel at all, and do it manually with a macro that has cancel commands in it. Or the old + manual cancel.

    He basically wants the ID for shadows 1-2, so he can cancel those only. I'm not sure how to look them up, but I know Rog did it once when remaking Utsu icons.

    Haven't tested it or anything, but something like that should do it.

    Edit: Managed to miss Langly's striked part above, which says essentially the same thing. Not sure why you think it's a problem though.

    According to Haborym, he is using id66. However, I've never heard of it canceling 3 shadows.

    66 is cancelling all numbers of shadows for me.

    It isn't the issue that we can choose what amount of shadows to cancel...

    It's the fact that Spellcast parses the rule before you cast. So no matter what it's going to see whatever shadows you have before you cast Ichi. Not during, not after. It's the fact that there's no way to put a delay on an If statement that gets you.

    Just have it cast a dummy spell midcast and check for buffs when that spell is cast.
