Not to side track the ops topic but could you ask your friend what vista 64bit nvidia video drivers he uses and pm me. I think I have tried win vista x64 163.69 and 185.85 and a bunch in between.

Not to demean him or anything, but he's likely using whatever came with the laptop lol <_< whether that's vista 32 or 64, and default drivers. I'll ask him whenever I get a chance to.
