Throwing a small party.. need help.

Ok, so I dont throw many parties (I just dont like people trashing my house, and ive been out of college for a while now).

Anyways, Im having about 10-15 people over my house this friday and need to find some shit to do >.>.

I have a nice entertainment center, with PS3/Wii/Xbox, pool table, card table, and alot of alchohol. All I can really think of is a few amusing drinking games, some lolSF4 (have a chick that loves street fighter and insists we play it >.>), some cards, some good music..

Just kinda figured we would hang out and drink/snack/have some fun. But I dont want it to be boring.

Any suggestions for fun? Fun games? This isnt a swingers party, so Im all out of ideas =/.

I kinda assume alchohol + music + time = fun no matter what, but I kinda wanted "shit to do" to get things started.

Once everyone has a little alchohol in them it doesnt really matter.

If the party is mainly to get drunk together set up a Power Hour mix. 60 songs cut after 1 minute in. Shot of beer a minute. It's usually pretty entertaining with a mix of "oh hey I forgot about that song" songs and cap it off with some drunk anthem.

You should be set, but if you need something to break the ice and jump start the boozing, just do some simple drinking games that will involve everyone. King's cup or a power hour is always a good start.

If you know SFIV is going to be involved, bet drinks on the game -- way I've always bet drinks is you drink your initial bet (so if you say 5, drink your 5 first), then if you win, you get to hand out double your bet to whoever you want (and it can be multiple people, so in the case of 5, 10 to one person, 5 to two people, 2 to five people, etc).

Can you grill out? This is always a win situation, get people outside... if you have a yard, you can set up a badmitton net or something similar; it's usually the type of thing where once people start playing everyone wants to play.

Get Trivial Pursuit and team up and the other teams do a shot when a team gets a pie piece. Great fun for 1v1 nerd battle with your significant other, if you like to mix trivia with your drinking, and who doesn't?

board games are always fun, shit like apples to apples and taboo are the things we normally play when we get 10-20 people together

my parties usually consists of a grill, mix drink station, poker, ping pong table and rock band lol. (taboo is fun too) oh and make sure have a good playlist for music ;x

really i find rock band to be really great at parties...everyone is interesting in playing or at least listening to others play.

my advice is to not worry too much about ppl having fun and remember to have fun yourself

My sister loves power hour whenever we drink. It's pretty interesting playing power hour and waterfalls at the same time. It's a nice way to get drunk real fast.
