Ps3 controller

I hooked up my Ps3 controller to my Computer using the USB cord you use to recharge it on the ps3. My computer is reading the controller but it isn't working. I tried calibrating it like my computer says but still no luck. Anyone know how to fix this?

Wait, it won't charge? or you're trying to use it to play something?

Yeah, windows will recognize the controller since it's just a regular USB HID, but you need the driver posted above in either to use it. There's also a way to connect via bluetooth, takes a little more effort though. But if you're on 64-bit windows, then you're out of luck as there's no drivers yet available afaik. But if anyone finds one, let me know!! lol

I wanted to use my ps3 controller to play L4D on computer but I tried and can't get it to work still. I guess I will stick to mouse and keyboard for now. Thanks anyways for the help.

Did you try to use the drivers and instructions from the link in the 2nd post?
