That may be so, I just haven't seen any evidence to support that. (and no, I haven't been following the Madoff ticker on CNN daily, I'm just looking at the articles posted.) You sound positive that she knew his investments weren't legit. Find evidence to that effect and I'll be right there with you - til then, I'm not assuming much.

This guy bilked billionaires, for 30 fucking years - people who are that rich don't tend to be foolhardy with their money. Many if not most of his victims thought they were dealing in legitimate business. Is it so impossible that his wife thought the same? I highly doubt she has the same financial acumen of most of his clients.

Remember, Madoff wasn't just a con artist - he was also a very successful legit hedge fund manager, which is part of the reason so many people trusted him for so long.
