Thankfully for me, I never want kids ever ever, so I am really faithful with taking my pills, and when I am taking antibiotics or anything that reduces the effects of birth control I just either don't have sex or use backup protection. I was with a guy who would not have sex unless we did use a condom. We didn't last too long. =P I think he thought I was crazy though.

No, the point of my post was to highlight that the pill alone doesn't guarantee you won't get pregnant and that combining it with the use of a condom is much more effective.

I've been around the block enough times to know that a condom is only 80% effective, otherwise I wouldn't have even tried to have unprotected sex with my girlfriend at least once.

Let's weigh this. Sex without a condom feels good. Yay. So let's see what happens if something leaks out (pre-come). You have about a 20-30% chance to get someone pregnant every time you do that and they might be on their ovulation. If you have pre-come and they are on their ovulation, those numbers go up quite a bit.

Now let's see the numbers with a condom. 80-85% chance that nothing happens, and that 20% only exists if a) you spring a leak, b) it busts, c) the condom comes off. So that means you have roughly the same chance of getting somebody pregnant if those situations occur than you do if you just go raw.

No thanks. I'm not about to have a baby and pump my kids full of hormones just because I want sex to feel better. People going on birth control should be using it because they want to avoid pregnancies, not because they want to feel better when they fuck.

Condom + Birth Control = maximum protection.

I think just about all dudes can agree without is better. It feels more natural, your penis isn't being strangled the whole time, easier access to skeet skeet, etc. That being said, my gf likes me to wear ribbed/special condoms sometimes just cuz it feels better for her or something (I wish i could feel pleasure like a girl sometimes because i just am that fucking awesome). She says that she dries out a lot quicker when im not wearing a condom as well - which I find to be the opposite of common sense. Condoms increase stamina which i /guess/ is a good thing sometimes, but honestly anything over an hour is just "meh what time is it? i think law and order is on and i got dynamis soon..." One day I'm going to have a trial and see how long i can last standing wearing a condom (I last FOREVER standing even without a condom). I want to see if my penis gives up before I'm done.

What I prefer and what I know is responsible are two different things. I prefer to have sex without having to use a condom. I also prefer to not have children before I'm married or settled into a real career with my degree. My girlfriend doesn't believe in birth control pills because they make her body go nuts. I can't afford to just go raw simply because it feels better.

No condom! Been w/ my gf for 2+ years now, she's on the pill. Condoms make sex pointless/unenjoyable(with someone you're monogamous with). Last time I used one(girl before my current gf) I went soft in her and said fuck it, I'll take care of myself later.

My girlfriend is allergic to my semen and we can't have sex more than once if we don't use one. Her vagina gets all inflamed and then my penis doesn't fit. So yeah.

Some women have weird reactions to the pill. It maybe a mental thing but I know some women can't even take the generic versions of the pills that they take for w/e reason(worked as a pharm tech for a while).
