Unless she has negative side effects like Kurosan's girlfriend does, then there is really no reason for her NOT to take them if she doesn't want to get pregnant. They're really small, so even for people that have issues taking pills it's not a problem, and they can have other good side effects too. The only "annoying" thing is you have to take them everyday around the same time for them to be the most effective. I just set my phone alarm and it reminds that it's that time.

Just be straight up and tell her why you want her to use them and then explain that she can use pills and there are also other methods she can use too, like that ring they put in you to make sure you don't have kids, or the shot, or whatever else.

There are other benefits than just the no babies part. Most birth controls clear up skin and reduce acne breakouts for girls who have issues with that. The main reason I started taking mine was for control of my period. Depending on when I start/stop taking pills I can have no period, a period that lasts only 3-4 days, or a full cycle. It also makes said periods much lighter. I know a guy who calls birth control pills miracle pills, because they can stop the crimson flow. =) That itself makes it worth it in my mind. Planning a trip to Vegas? No problem, just keep taking the pills and have a planned period when you get home.

First...no, the "pull-out" method isn't safe at all. I would never endorse it. What I said is that I simply have a hard time believing that pre-ejaculation has a 30%+ chance of knocking a girl up.
