I don't know where you're getting off calling me sarcastic, I completely and utterly agree with you. The free market should decide which race is supreme! The fact that Blacks and Hispanics/Latinos make up the overwhelming majority of people in poverty in the US, despite being only a small fraction of the total US population, is just testament to the fact that their races don't know the meaning of the word "bootstraps".

And when liberals advocate and create legislation to help the poor, we know that's only going to poor minorities, and NEVER to poor whites.

    Fucking racist trash left-wingers.

We have more in common than I thought. I apologize for what I interpreted as sarcasm.

But that mindset is more aligned with the Republican party, I argue.
I am afraid you have fallen for my ruse, foolish forumgoer! You have been "trolled"!!

Oh brother. Fake Republicans. Although your "the free market should decide which race is supreme", I admit, is what liberals typically think of Republicans. Sorry I didn't catch it. I should think twice before thinking that someone has decided to speak rationally. The free market determines which people succeed. It's not based on someone's race.

But Colbert tactics aside, how is diversity, affirmative action, etc, actually any good for America? Why is "treating people as people" so hard for liberals to grasp? Why group people into "underperforming minority" categories? Why not let the best go to the top regardless of their skin color?

It's not based on someone's race.
Yes, after all, there are quite a few black and latino people in the higher brackets. And look at Asians! Why, I know one of the good ones, I visit him every day on my way to the office. Not quite as successful as I, you understand, but for one of his kind, he is quite extraordinary.

You're refuting the fact that a person's success is not determined exclusively by their success? That only white guys can succeed?

Edit: I'll come back when the tone isn't so ridiculous.

Success is a genetic trait that has been proven to have a greater incidence in members of the Aryan race.

Serious response to a troll oh no, when your dad's an uneducated slave who goes on to become an uneducated farmer, he doesn't have much of a drive for success to pass on to his sons and daughters, who will likely be too busy assisting in their parents farm work to get an education. A vicious cycle begins, because those kids will go on to become poor farmers who will need their children to work for them in order to stay afloat.

Indeed one could even say that success gene is successful.

It would have to be, to be found so commonly in the most successful race on the planet.

Leif, quick question, can you provide me one Republican Senator or Governor who actually promotes the ideas of individual liberty (across the board, not picky-choosy)? Or one Republican President/Nominee for President?

The lack of acknowledgement that cycles (especially the socio-economic kind) are hard to break is what makes so many non-thinking Republicans the breeders of more little Republicans.
