Gimp/Confused/WTF Player XI: They've known everything beyond U since release

There's not many evasion legs besides Crow Hose which would give him -enmity which he doesn't want when he's tanking; Dragon Subligar give a small amount of melee benefit, Subtle Blow and +Enmity.

Not a lot of evasion choices for legs on THF. If he lacks Skadi or Homam, it isn't the most "horrible" choice with the enmity and Subtle Blow for tanking. The feet....he isn't engaged so I dunno, maybe just hasn't taken boots off since fleeing there?

The Thief's Knife on a 100% drop is pretty lol.

If he is wearing proper evasion accessiories, it isn't a bad build...just not great either. (And he better macro in haste shit for shadow casting though)



But odds are....he's just gimp :D

Oh god, no thanks. Would never upgrade a mule to any extent worth 2 mil. I'd feel twice or thrice the idiot if I ran around with a mule worth more than a million gil than I would if I ran around with a full NQ (reasonable NQ obviously, not CHR rings on a BLM, etc.) mule. If that makes me gimp then I'm proud to be gimp, lol. I'll save the gil for decking my own character out (who I'm pretty damn proud of by the way). Perhaps I have been whooshed, or perhaps I have encountered a baller.

With rdm as the job. And being a W legs mule I sorta feel the need to keep it up to *par* It does not have a tone of HQ gear. HQ dark/ice/(with earth otw) as well as some high end HQ mnd gear i added. 2mil is not that much gil to make a rdm good on HNM or anything end game.

I guess I should also note it is set for rdm/nin tanking. IE dusk hands and feet(700k right there). I do not see how 2mil is by any means *balling*

If that is the character I think it is and on the server I think it is, it's kind of a passed around character between a couple of people. It's no longer used by the original owner and I know that two of the people that play it occasionally are very well geared.

We are just trying to get him geared up to tank things for us. He has walmart turban that I put on when I was killing place holders. AF feet were for fleeing to the room. I guess we should really get him a different dagger for the rare ocassion that he doesn't need TH3. But basically that is his pure evasion set up and he is just semi gimp.

You didn't post a pic of his gear. You're assuming he's only using Ohat+SH in his eva set. Firstly, you're wrong: He's using War Gloves (nitpick). Secondly, you have no idea if he's wearing Scouter's Rope/Eva Torque/Boxer's/Earrings.

Also, not as if Charybdis rages, so you only lose killspeed (irrelevant) by using an Eva setup over haste.

Pretty much that. I actually have tanked with AF+1 Legs since I didn't have homam at the time so it's not like THF has a great evasion bonus choice for legs.

Why the flying fuck has none of the iTHFs mention Denali Kecks? Seriously... 3 evasion and 3 AGI, which will total 4.5~5 evasion. Toss on accuracy of same value, not to mention ranged accuracy for bloody bolts if you need to swap in a X-Bow to replace Ungur for a bit. Also, no -enmity on it or -hp. Fuck, you can even get War Brais +1 for tanking. +HP and 5 AGI.

This is his evasion build definitely. He's probably wearing evasion torque, scouter's rope, and all that jazz.

donno why he'd wear dragon subligar with an evasion setup though.

IF he has Dusk. I was assuming it was his running gear, or a make-shift eva build. I'm saying if you replace ohat with turban, war with dusk, AF with dusk/homam, he'd be a walmart THF.

This was fighting Fafnir today. Yes, the person is behind me....in the middle....taking breaths to the face.

Later, decided the safest method was to step farther away from Fafnir and was about 25' from it. Unfortunaly they never had hate as they never really was casting spells. Would have love to see Fafnir take a little walk.

Full time gear, never changes to anything when actually out to do shit, leader of a piss poor sky linkshell who thinks they can do dynamis, not to mention fails to kill maat on any job they level.

what I wana know is, who would follow someone who cant beat maat, runs a sky linkshell so they have some form of money either selling triggers or gil items from drops, granted the only god ever recorded they downed after an hour of fighting was genbu.

Seriously they present themselves so horribly, and when I attempted to have a conversation with him/her several months ago it looked like a toddler bashing the keyboard.
