This guy didn't have the worst gear imaginable. Was just his playstyle that was REALLY gimped. This is fulltime gear so no AF helmet for Meditate. He also only WS Tachi Yuki when he was at 300% (most of the time with Shikikoyo up) or when the mob was @ 2%. During 2h of partying with him I saw him use Meditate 5 times...
When asked why he wouldn't Seigan+3eye when he pulls hate from doing 300% WS at the start he says that we have a healer anyway...

I don't melee in SH, but i macro in toreador ring, swift belt etc accuracy equips for meleeing. I've never seen a cor using an SH so it never really came to mind.

If you're going to melee at that level who gives a shit what you've seen other people wear, it should be pretty obvious what you should be wearing.

Couple things; Shikikoyo is a Group 2 merit, he wouldn't have at lv.64. I'm assuming you meant Sekkanoki. Using Tachi: Yuki isn't bad, considering Tachi: Gekko is lv.65 without merits. Though storing TP to 300% and lack of Polearm for birds is wtf indeed.

Seriously, that gil could have been spent for better things <_< Come on.

Corazza and nodawa for regen, heremes for movement speed, switch dusk for spiked finger gauntlets for running around. Augmented lifebelt and novia I wouldn't really consider gimp either since its town. A few out of place pieces, but nothing too bad really.

RNG necklace, AF head and relic legs are OK. Relic hands and amemet mantle's pathetic, however. Amemet +1 is a backpiece that every ranger should ding into as it last literally forever.

oh there is nothing wrong with af head, i used it until i got quad helm, and rng necklace isnt bad at all. but the fact that he has an loldogi and hasnt sold it for better gear is just beyond me.
