fact is you are just finding a fight why I even answered you back, I have not a clue. You can fight yourself after this post. My gear is fine, I do my job and I do it very well. The gear I ideled in did not effect me in any way where i was.

It's poor playstyle, if you've been playing mages for any amount of time you should have a habit of using an idle gear macro(or spellcast!!!). If there was a melee standing there watching as well in awful gear, you would have posted them. By that token, your gear also matters.

I geared up smn, did not hit idle macro in a to week zone with zero mobs that agro. How hard is it to understand a idel set does nothing in a area like that? that is the point. Thats what all my posts said. and iv yet to get a answer as to why it matters. not like i camped it in that set, i gran there when my LS said 4 people died.

It matters for the same reason people's gear in campaign(where you lose no EXP and there are pretty much 0 stakes) matters. It's gimp. Knyghtmare's point is that you're north american(New York according to your profile) and you type with grammar worse than that of a typical 9-year-old.

in campaing it matters to get more exp. your turn.

A death means less EXP, more down time. so a set would matter there. point?

Comparing someone's exp in campaign with poor gear choices to good gear choices and similar playstyle can be likened to comparing the damage you'd take from resting and aggroing a few things, they're both pretty irrelevant. By your logic, you could fulltime all af1 while standing around Simurgh and not be gimp, but I guarantee if a BG reader saw that their ass would be here asap without asking about their real gear.
