Oh wow, guess so. I hadn't heard that. I just saw them talking about no one needing it. Everyone having a R/EX is the same thing that causes Joyeuse not to load on Charybdis.

I think that's kind of the point, it's written in such a way that it looks like you have a good chance of winning, because if you don't actually think about it, you won't notice the gaps. At first look, it seems like you win money if you roll anything 580+, and hey, that's almost a 50% chance! Seems like he caught you with this. But if you actually read it, you get nothing for rolling 0-579, 631-759, 811-899, and 941-999. That means you really only have a 143/1000 chance of winning anything. But it's definitely not obvious from first glance how bad the odds are.

And this is exactly why we now have 4 different people running casinos in Whitegate on Sylph, sometimes even all shouting at the same time. People are easy to deceive.

There's 4 fails: a) It's Justinx, b) Shout-advertising your low-man "HNM social", c) shouting about your casino right after your shout for HNM shell, d) the completely awful odds of winning at said casino.

SO who hates ChocoboGordo?

Last nights Dark Ixion was frighteningly hilarious.

After claiming and wiping once when they had no competition, they claimed again in Jugner. Then after a while and about 100k collective XP lost (had to have been close to this) Ixion raged and they started dropping beyond the point of repair. So we start scouring the zones and finally deduce it's in the one zone with campaign still going. Campaign ends, it pops and they claim again. When they claimed it was at 31%. By the time they started doing damage to it, it was 41%. Almost an hour later they finally kill it.

Then one of their less intelligent members shouts "All your HNM are belong to CG, Valefor!"

After a performance like that, and then that exuberant statement, I was having a hard time keeping a straight face.
