I just recently got my cap last week. I spent the time and leveled every job properly except for SMN. I'll admit I just burned that to 66 because I could care less about that job. The other 14 I had geard properly and learned pretty much everything I could from up until 66. I have seen my fair share of retarded cap owners though.

And I'm pretty sure those sizes are wrong. I've purchased shirts in Japanese sizes and it feels like JP XL = US SM. But yea, I laughed at that part too.

Let me see if I can find the Screenshot I have from a Maat´s cap owner with RDM main saying Haste lowers JA recast timers. Probably deleted it though.

And yeah, Maat's really does promote bad habits. Exp is easy; Maat on most fights is a joke even at 66. I'd like to think I did a pretty good job of not gimping myself while levelling for it, but I know a few other people who've gone for it who really don't care. Pretty stupid to chase a "status" item while making the world think you're a retard, really. And I think it sucks for them, as learning how 15 jobs work first-hand really made me enjoy the game a lot more.

No, 'cos there's people who will party their way to 75 and still have no clue on what does what (or cap their merits, or get a relic, etc etc). My point was more about people who don't care at all, regardless of how they level.
