Honestly the mass circumcising that goes on in the US is pretty weird. Since it's not even a cultural thing, they just sort of do it for no reason.
ehhhhh, it's a different story to hear some others tell it. oh well!
anyway, you can't really miss what you never had, but at the same time it should have been your choice to make. your parents might get a little more leeway because it's part of a religious custom, but honestly female genital mutilation in africa is excused away by the qu'ran so i guess it just depends on what you consider a legit justification.
Ehhh I think people are under the false impression that it's required in order to be hygenic. Instead of you know... just learning how to clean yourself properly.
The reason that i often hear most cited is that the dad just wanted his kid to look like him. That's it.
tbh, how could you? you don't have any kind of frame of reference to know how different the experience is.
I don't think "wanting my son to look like me" is a great reason to get your son's penis sliced... but hey, different strokes

i see you daahan
I already made the stroke joke on like page 15, c'mon

sorry, that was directed @ shiro. i think some men in the U.S. who aren't cut sometimes have it done or want it done because of a) the desire to "fit in," which can be a big deal in those situations where you're in a communal shower or changing room and b) because of the pro-dickslicing propaganda that's out there. people will claim all sorts of shit (FORESKIN INCREASES YOUR RISK FOR AIDS!) to support what is essentially a scam for doctors to put a few extra bucks in their pocket over a throwaway procedure. it's disgusting.
Every girl I've talked to in real life has told me they would prefer cut to uncut, both aesthetically and while it's actually up in them. This is the first I've heard of liking foreskin from a female perspective, to be honest.
I think because it's more common here in the US, girls don't have the opportunity to see uncut as much so you know... you're into what's familiar to you, and not interested in what's strange to you.
it's an american thing. we're conditioned to be repulsed by foreskin for some reason. i couldn't tell you why; it's some skin. as long as you take the extra 1 second to drop the top in the shower and give it a good soap soap rinse rinse, there's nothing "icky" about it. we just have this problem with anything being different.
They used to believe that not getting it cut could lead to higher risk of testicular cancer, or so a doctor told me (not shitting), but said it was disproved a long time ago and yeah since that shit is common place now, Americans aren't used to anything else. Mostly everywhere else is usually a different story though, Europe especially
If dick size is ever measured in weight the uncut guys will have an advantage.
