Fun fact, I didn't catch skirkle's real name until the second time we hung out. And the first time I ever did hang out with him, you were there.

Yeah, just like how I went to do karaoke with some folks from my LS I was meeting for the first time... we introduced ourselves and also told each other our online handles, you know... so we'd know exactly who we were talking to.
Spoiler: show
Fun fact: I left Ryko a voice mail yesterday b/c I called the wrong # ;(. He called me back too, what a pal<3
I would probably give everyone my fake name.
In all seriousness, that's my fake name.
But you called back! It means you care!
I agree with charismatic. In the Brawl community, most people call you by your tag name (Akashi ie is my tag name, Ryko is the same). When you don't know the guy, you call them by their tag name. If you get to know them, you call them by their real name ('though some people don't like this, but competitive gaming is different than MMOs obviously). Still, if you meet someone for the first time, and you're in a group, it's a smart decision to say both your real name and your tag name.
I really shouldn't have had to explain that.
so has this thread died yet?
