If that is big boss, 5 could deal with the fallout of not having the patriots around anymore. Which would mean, of course, big boss's death was a fake for some unknown reason. secondly, i'm not buying it that Boss (big boss's mentor, the one he kills at the end of 3) is dead. After what we saw with solidus in the last game I don't believe anyone is truly dead unless their smashed like a bug or something. She could come back and play a major role in this game.

You'd have to read Kojima's interview. Even he says its a 'world map' and I had saw Pangaea way before reading it.

Somebody link a picture of raiden from mgs2 and 4! On my iPhone so too lazy to search myself... But it is possible his cybertech gear altered parts of his generic appearance (such as eyes). I'm kind of getting excited though for a mgs that focuses on the events of raiden between the events after mgs2 till we see him in mgs4. Because I'm sure it's one amazing story

The eye color is interesting.... Kojima is way too peticular on the tiniest of details... So for raidens eye color to be different in that teaser pic... Either it's not raiden or he has hazel eye's :D

I'm starting to think that the ninja being Gray Fox makes a lot of sense now. Can't think of another cyborg ninja that could be fit into a story line with Big Boss better than him.

A bunch of people have said it now and it contradicts what I know atm, I may need to play through 4 again, but WHEN THE FUCK DID BIG BOSS DIE?!!?!?! If anyone watched the "Hidden" scene at the end of 4 you saw Big Boss alive and well. I don't remember him dying in or around that scene, just hugging his son.

EDIT: Also idk if Gray Fox being alive would be cool or not. xD It seemed to me pretty definitively that he was dead after the first one. you know the whole being ground in the the ground and stabbed with hydraulic nail like things usually is pretty fatal. It would make sense though if he received the beta version of Raiden's treatment, but it wouldn't explain his setup in the first one, I mean if Raiden's is badass enough then why change it? Also why would Gurlucovich use the same basic model as Gray Fox and then Raiden switch to something new?
