2% Haste is normally worse than 7accuracy in most cases, provided none of the accuracy is wasted. The STR is just a bonus on top of that.

its not granted, you need to do the maths for each haste/accuracy set up. It varies a lot lol.

- for SAM: usu head is better then turban at 78% hit rate (with NQ dusk, swift, byakkos, usu feet). In practice a bit higher due to 3 str, say somewhere between 80 and 85%.

- for BB monk, you get 85% as above ( a bit more counting the 3 str).

- for brown belt monk it's 91.5%.. ( a bit more with 3 str)

It varies a lot, 1% haste is worth much more acc when haste is higher.

-ace's vs turban for sam: under 92.5%

-askar head vs turban for sam? 1% haste vs 3acc... under 67.5% hit rate. I'll give you the str and dex will improve the melee dmg a bit but its only 1/3 of total dmg for sam. so maybe 75% hit rate? Wear turban, eat pizza, drop askar.

Only have the NQ :\ And No the life belt isn't augmented yet, I had high hopes for the system, especially a shot at getting more +vit gear for chakra, but after hearing how bad it was I never really got into it.

@cream soda, saw you finally got your usu body too lol I've been doing salvage since June of 07 and 4/5 since June of 08. It's really odd to see that much +str on mnk o.o;

Friend got DEX+2 on his Life belt whenever we all went to do it the first day it came out. I got STR+1 on a swordbelt. It's pretty inexpensive and if it goes wrong it's not much effort to NPC and replace it. The only really taxing part I guess is getting a ton of tabs together, but with the FoVs in sky, it's much better to not have to sync to do it. I know DEX+2 isn't much, but i'm just saying that it's possible ;o Your MNK looks great though

First one being my full acc build the second two are some of my middle builds my final build is more of a no acc full dmg for when acc is totally capped (weak shit salvage mobs nyzul ect). I look at my current hitrate and use the build I feel is best for the situation

Note: Keep situational things such as lightning ring and fenrir's earring and to replace their respective types as can (Fenrir > merman's in when I'd be using merman's, lightning to rep toreador's)

Also use mix/match during salvage until I have enough cells to full usu.

Where is your Shadow Ring for Ballista you fucking gimp? And why Osode over Arhat's +1? I can't imagine that 30mp making too much of a significant difference for you, but I could be wrong.

Well it's not some lv 80 HNM where VIT does nothing. Vit does a pretty good deal in ballista plus the fact that I get hit for 30-40 on single hand/h2h and 60-80 on 2hand (and that's being generous) in my build, -9% isn't going to be much. Osode also offers offensive stats, more mp for my /blu and light resist for lullaby/repose.

you only use full usukane for sam? Its only good when you need the accuracy. At 90+ use a turban set up with dusk and byakkos.

You could also use a full usukane combo with sword strap+one rajas. Depending on accuracy I either use pole grip + 2 acc rings or sword strap+1 sniper+1 rajas. The upgrade from sword strap to polegrip is about 1-1.5% more dmg ( from memory sword strap is 1.3% more # of melee hits and ws, with 1% less average WS dmg) . But pole grip+2 acc ring vs sword strap+1acc ring+1 rajas is about the same (but you gotta be low on acc acc, in the ~85%s).

Edit; I know there is a trend to use cuchulain's mantle , pcc over torque etc, recently. But it fails w/o the right food. It's important. Coeurl subs (~75 ATT) or meat kabobs (~60 ATT) aren't an option if you use those ( except colibris of course). You need at least a rabbit pie but preferably red curry, and a bard ( preferably 2 brd or brd+cor, to take advantage of the attack boost on food). Because a set up with cuchu, Pcc, 2 HQ sniper and coeurl subs, will have less accuracy and less attack than a pizza set up with good old foragers, Sea torque, merman's rajas ulthalam.
