I have Forager's and planning to get Rutter's for higher defense mobs. Is it worth it to swap out -3STR for +20Attack for HNMs? With Hasso and Food (Mithkabob, ran out of subs D; ) I'm at STR+72 & 480 Attack in that set. With THF sub, which I would be on most things that have a higher attack cap, I have 4 less STR, 3 less attack.

If your mages aren't taking pride in those types of jobs..... please kick them and get new mages.

I'd definitely say so. If the attack is not being wasted, it's a pretty nice increase... 3STR is pretty small.

Nice stuff, making me jealous. Gogo Taru Samurai! *.* Only suggestion I could think of would be Smart Grenade/Tiphia Sting instead of Lightning Bow? But seeing as attack for Gekko gets capped fast for "normal" mobs it wouldn't really benefit your Y/G/K, only on higher level mobs I guess when the attack cap for Gekko is higher.

Yes and Forager's, Hauby+1, rutters, and Usu legs (if you can get a hold of them) should be better on HNM.

Now, here's a question, from some of the gear I showed, what would be the best setup in for a Penta set? Should I go the route of just a ton of acc, despite having the huge acc bonus traits? Or mix it up a bit with some attack? dex?

If i used this job more frequently, I would put more into the equips it has, but since it just remains a strictly merit job (depending how much I'd gear this up, I might use it for more things such as Nyzul, Einherjar, Salvage? but I have tons of other dd jobs to choose from =X )

Are you the same person that posted their DRK before with that really horrid datswap for Ace's? I think you blocked your name out then too. Seems like opposing thought processes: I want people to see my gear, yet I don't want them to associate my gear with my char with my BG account, yet I want to post on BG.

he has enough acc for merits if full polearm merits and yes gorget, also I'd aim cuch mantle then use cuch + ares over heca + forager.

I don't have full polearm merits, since they've been devoted to full axe/sword. I appreciate all the small tid bits of help I've recieved, I really appreciate it!
