He's/would be already at haste cap (26%), so might as well show off G. Horn and Sheikh, which are a bigger accomplishment.

Afaik, Goli's 4% haste wont beat Relic Body's 18Att 8Str 8Dex. But fuck, if I had that gear I'd alsu use Shiekah. We all know when you get the best gear, that epeen > the technical best option if said best option is cheap/ugly/easy to obtain.

Here's a parse of me (soboro) vs a 'real' gk (onikiri, highest dps 450 delay GK available to the other guy). "S" had gear way above the standard usually found in the gimp thread and you can see I was able to WS almost exactly twice as much as him; we both used TP around 100%, occasionally I built up excess TP whilst taking a drink or w/e so if anything, I would have used more WS than shown.

I've yet to find any 'real' GK that comes close to Soboro (pre-hagun) for damage output.

And yes, I know, bla-bla use a polearm bla-bla. We were doing eruca/jagils (excellent camp you can do 14-15k/h an hour with a good group) and I wanted to have a go using a GK for once especially seeing as I spent so fucking long doing a pickup group run for soboro last weekend.

I'm confused as to how a weapon with 34 more base DMG is only putting up 110 more damage per WS than Soboro, when apparently he has "better gear." I know personally when I did erucas twice while levelling I would rarely go below 400 Yukis (I didn't parse) without being rocked by cocoon. That was before Gekko was even obtainable (64ish probably) and most likely gimped GKT skill from level sync. Are you SURE this person wasn't a moron? 440 Gekkos with a D74 weapon is pretty pathetic.

It looks about average, taking Cocoon into account. Like I said, Polearm is ideal in a lot of cases, but when you're using GKT *Pre-Hagun/Onimaru*, you should be using a Soboro. Onikiri, Daihannya, Zanbato etc are all junk.

I really don't know where all this Soboro vs Hagun shit came from. The person in question was leveling in the 60's. I said, very specifically, that Soboro would not beat Hagun. I also said, very specifically, that it would take some unrealistically ideal circumstances and a lack of Meditate merits for Soboro to beat out Onimaru. Retarded derail is retarded, especially if Pchan's responding to it.

This is a parse of me using a Soboro leveling up, Lv70. Camp was Imps. Serey was a Haub+1 HQ'd out the ass SAM using an Onikiri. I just had a basic 6-hit, NQ haub, etc. Dabtuls was a Drk75 synced down, and the other guy was the Pld.
