loved both, but ffxi was just so unproductive. like the biggest thing for me about wow is that you could always be doing something pretty much, but xi you just sat around, and sometimes you couldnt even really go any further with what you were doing because SE takes so long to add anything worth playing.

ffxi was more fun socially, wow was cool but there's a serious difference in terms of the wow social bubble and the ffxi social bubble. like, if you've played both, you know exactly what im talking about. If you haven't, you have a huge amount of dumb/immature people on wow, so you're more likely to encounter them. FFXI has its dumb/immature people, but there's fewer players so youre less likely to encounter them.

And dont get me wrong, im hella fuckin immature but im not dumb+immature, i know when to be immature and when not to be

80 may be greater than 75, but FFXI allows you to have 1500 levels on one character (20jobs * 75 levels). Thus, FFXI is 18.75 times better than WoW. This does not include merits as we do not know the conversion factor.
