I'm a glorious shift supervisor at the AAA main office here in Pittsburgh. The fun, the games, the adventure. It's a call center. Good to see all those years of college paid off blech. But as much as I hate the place they are always promoting me. The head of our particular department is now attempting to groom me into taking his role when he retires. Yippee. But he hooks me up with Pens tickets all season long.

zomg...you need to like do me a fav and tell AAA to fix their website for CT.

1. Don't ask me why, but the CT AAA (don't think all states have it) used to have an option when choosing flights to check a box that said "my dates are flexible show me the cheapest flights". If you clicked it, it would take you to a page that had all these round trip flights for 200$. They had a lot of days blocked out (holidays/weekends/etc.) and you usually had to fly from like tuesday to tuesday, but is definitely worth it for 200$.

I can't remember how many times I've used it, I've been using it for years to fly back n' forth from Cali to CT. Last time I used it was last summer. This summer I was going again and noticed the website changed, and I can't access that page anymore.

2. I called the phone line to find out if they canceled the program (which I wouldn't be surprised about considering the economy), or if it was a glitch on the site. I couldn't find anywhere with an "online support" phone number, so I contacted the flight reserve department. They couldn't help me, and also were surprised to find there was no number anywhere on the website for online tech help. (the lady tried looking too). So I still don't know if this is a website issue, or they just canceled the program. She also didn't have the number for online help.

3. I did manage to get some cheap tickets through AAA (flying on 4th of july XD ). And aside from the other issue, I can't find my flight info on the website. They never emailed it either. Only reason I have my flight info is because there was a change in one of the times, so they sent a letter with my new schedule. I was going to wait till june and if I still didn't have it, I was going to call to request they mail it.

4. Website keeps insisting my card is expired, but it's referring to an old number I had like 8 years ago (think I skipped a year which is why I have a new number.) Instead of defaulting to the new number I put in.


If you could give this info to the right department, I'd <3 you forever and ever and ever. Big thing that makes me sad is there's no way for me to report it to the right department, since there's no relevant contact info available. I want my 200$ flights back. :/

Meh, nursing isn't a bad gig if you're patient and like people. Good benefits, good pay... decent hours depending on where you work, in some cases you can make your own schedule. I thought you meant nursing students, not actual nurses btw -- my gran's a nurse - has a cushy 8-2 job doing endoscopy procedures. No holidays, no weekends, and she gets paid bank. Pretty sweet tbh. These days schools can't pump RNs out fast enough, the demand is crazy
