Laptop and FFXI

I recently received a new laptop and want to play FFXI on it. It is an IBM ThinkPad, I'm unsure of the specs, but running the FFXI benchmark shows it's okay. My question is, is the benchmark an accurate representation of the game?


Another question; if I have my FFXI discs(original + expansions) for PC, can I buy the 360 version and use those codes? I plan on buying a 360 soon and I would rather not have to buy both the 360 and PC versions.

Pretty sure you can use codes cross-platform yeah. I used a PS2 code for my PC version iirc.
