Oh, make sure to talk to people in the dojo (I think, anyway) so you can get Manual battle mode.

Semi-Auto is okay, but Manual gives you more control... as I'm sure you'd expect.

Oh God, even on Manual it forced you to run up to the enemy when you pressed attack didn't it? That shit gets so annoying until you get used to it.

Use pSX. Though Esc should only return you to the ePSXe window, not completely close it. What're you using to play it?

Oh, I forgot I changed it. Go to Config > Misc and change Esc to 'Exit fullscreen' instead of quitting the program.
