Crit Cap?

Hey everyone; I know crit rate and such is still widely unknown... or at least I haven't been able to find a concrete repository of information on it. So I had a few general questions, and would like to confirm my understanding.

1) Base crit rate is approximately 5%
2) Crit Rate when taking DEX into account caps at 20%, at 50DEX+Target's AGL
3) Crit rate merits increase flat rate, 1% per... or approximately...


What I am unsure about is this:
If I am using a Zahak's Mail, and are at the Crit cap, would that make my crit rate 27%, or is there a hard cap at 25%? And would pairing it up with a Cletine bring it to 30%?

I've gotten 33% crit on my WAR w/ Gondo or Rampager, Claymore grip, 118 DEX (Greater Colibri) and the 4 merits.

Not sure what the higher cap is but a few weeks ago i scored 9 crits in a row on Scarab Beetles in East Ronfaure[S] on my PLD with Joyeuse. Was freakin bizarre.

Is the Level difference ACC modifier 2 per level, or 4 per level?

Ohhhhh so you didn't quit the game. You just left the LS after you scored Homam legs.
