    It's interesting to me how mentioning you did something out of the norm = pretentiousness. Is it some kind of defense mechanism? I never made any value judgments about myself or others in that comment, just basically said that I preferred other authors and didn't care for the types of stories in question.

    When I actually went to church in high school, a majority of the kids there were home schooled. They were so snobbish and always talked to the public school kids like we were a lesser, dumber group of kids.
