Ever hit a macro and have it not trigger? Can this be fixed?

I've had the not firing problem often myself. I have another problem with the macro setup, and maybe someone here can tell me what I'm doing. Sometimes when I'm desperately trying to press a macro I end up changing macro sets. For example, my cure V macro is ctrl+5 so from time to time, most noticably if I'm spamming the macro, instead of my cure V macro going off I'll end up in macro set 5. I'm sure I'm doing something silly when going for my macro can anyone help me out so I can self correct?

If you press Control or Alt and the Up or Down arrows (or L1/R1 and Up/Down on the d-pad,) that changes macro sets. It could be that you're accidentally doing this in your rush to spam and that you end up on set 5 is just a coincidence.

It always seemed to happen when I was camping Stun. It was like I was hitting it too fast or something. Stupid thing's gotten my party killed a few times from meltdown and such. I'm in the habit of hitting the macro a few times to make sure it goes off now.

You're hitting Shift.

Control+Shift+# changes to that macro set.

Also sometimes the server doesn't like when you use two actions too quickly. When there's two JAs I might use together... such as Berserk/Aggressor, Focus/Dodge, SA/TA, LR/SE, etc... sometimes I hit the macros too fast and only one JA fires, sometimes I the server accepts it fine. (I can tell the macros are firing in this case, but server isn't accepting them.)

can just use a macro with /ja ab1, /wait1 /ja ab2

It does it to me all the time. ALL the time. I think the worst was when I switched to using Windower full time my old convert macro stopped working correctly.

I should rewrite my macros.
