And then they banned World Reversal and the OTK deck was totally nerfed, though I haven't played Yugioh in about 3-4 years so I don't know how the metagame has changed since then.

I ran a beatdown for the first year and a half because shit was easy. I later used a hand control deck then when I gave up on it and stuck to online all I did was play warrior/e-hero resurrection/poly decks.

I actually ran a Yata-Control deck at one point, but it was cheap and boring so I gave it up, though I think I actually still have Yata somewhere.

Tsu had a Warrior deck, too. BEST FRIENDS FOREVA

I'm pretty sure I have a Gravekeeper's deck somewhere, that I used to counter Chaos Emperor decks when they first came out. I don't think I ever completed it, though.

i didn't realize what kind of nerdness i was bringing on with this topic. i managed to reset my stupid bard bitch, but since she can't tank and dies a lot, this is almost useless to me. overall pretty angry. turned the game off, probably will not go back for at least a few days.

another thing that really sucks: games with co-op modes. there's always one guy running ahead and either killing all the shit or looting all the boxes before you get there, so you leave ever dungeon all fucking destitute with no character progress. fuck it. this is awful.

Agreed if you're playing with randoms.
You should try some sort of indie game or something basic. I always go back to Cave Story when I'm bored.

you know what the worst thing is? i'm talking about my husband. we always try to find co-op style games (champions of norrath, anyone? lol) but he ends up doing everything i was talking about. he's that guy that hoards all the loot and picks out all the good gear and leaves you with the shitty rags you discover in some box. terrible partner.

Whether it's a co-op FPS (Halo3 where my bro will purposely drive off the ledge with me in the same vehicle, laughing hysterically), or any sort of RPG (kills my chars JUST before the boss dies, so he gets all the xp), he's the straight-up asshole of comrades. Nah bro, GL is way too open ended for you to cockblock friends. The exp is fluid, gold is leaking out of walls and spewing out of baddies' asses, and shit is way too easy to level grind. Try playing games where your participation/combos = amount of xp you earn, like Castle Crashers. It's fucking stupid when there's one guy spamming a weak AoE the entire time, and gaining more xp than you because he's doing absolutely nothing BUT he's hitting everything 10x quicker than you are.

this may be true, but he would even take MP replenishing shit when i'm basically a pld and he's basically a dude who could buy arrows but chooses to make them with MP because he doesn't want to spend the money. dude give me the FUCKING MP STONE SHITBAG. My roommate put all of his points into DEF in CC, then went full magic. It was impossible to move at that guy's pace because he leveled so slowly. Nothing would've gotten killed when we were playing those characters if it wasn't for me.
