Someone who got banned for doing the things you did has very little room to complain about other people being dicks. Has very little to do with being American or not, if you're a dick to people, expect minimal respect from them in return. In other words, you're the problem, not the people you victimize then blame.

I'm an American, I'm lazy and greedy, and I'm sure the rest of the country isn't as lazy and greedy as I am (/sarcasm). The only criticism I have about Americans is that we're an independent/individual culture, and that reflects on us as an environmental influence on how we act as people. People who play this game tend to clash with Japanese players who act differently so the clash of attitudes usually make people to change.

My banning was partially due to Square enix's refusal to instance dynamis or even create a Server-wide Dynamis Website, which I'm pretty sure Leylu has asked multiple times for them to have an official one made (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Whatever happened to sticking it to the man? Fellating your japanese corporate masters by upholding the ToS makes it look like you really care about the moral prevalence of a vague contractual agreement that says anything you do or don't do can be grounds for a banning which puts an axe over the head of each and every account holder according to the whims of policy flowcharts which were written by more JP corporate masters who've probably never even played beyond level 10, held by subcontracted underpaid and completely oblivious GMs in California who've probably also never played the game past level 10.

Eeeevery time someone gets banned, there's at least a couple people saluting the STF, the GMs, SE policy and ToS. Saluting the MAN. But here's the deal: there's probably a bunch of genuine misbannings out there and hay, we should've realized those were going to happen when we started clamouring for GMs to not be such useless powerless tits. But everyone wants to believe each and every one of those bannings has another side to it that will make you agree with the GM banning. It might even be true half the time! But you want to believe SE GMs would never ban you for something retarded, and that the guy who's telling you his sob story about windower macros or astral burn was really saying nigger cocks in shout.

You want to ignore that screenshot we all saw of a GM warning a PLD that if he didn't take off his earth staff, put on a sword and start doing damage to tiamat, that he would be jailed for illegally holding a mob.

And you want to believe salvage bannings were really a bonafide part of the STF mandate. Or that they were even handled fairly.

Weren't you Americans all enamoured with that Locke guy who talked about the right to rebel and bear arms and shit? It's funny when the first thing I always hear out of your mouths is the importance of respecting rules and authority without at least fucking begrudging the incompetence of those above you.

While I'm willing to concede with the fact that sometimes bannings aren't warranted, the people complaining recently about their bans have offered zero proof. One guy offered a chat log with a customer service rep, that's it. But there's no screenshots or anything to back up their claim. It's "I got banned and I didn't do anything!" and they expect everyone to take their word for it.

For every ban that's flat out wrong, there's about 10 more that are justified and the people telling their sob stories are leaving out details or flat out lying.

It's called "human behavior." Most of these people who openly complain about getting banned (with very little to support their case) are simply butthurt over the fact they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
