They only just balanced tailoring by fixing lightweave a few weeks ago
When you say nerfed JC, what do you mean exactly?
On topic, I lvled my hunter to 60 with mining and skinning prof, and managed to acrue over 4k gold and almost 2k while lvling my dk in outlands, its stupid easy making money in this game.
I've known a couple people that bought gold that literally log on, do bg's, do arenas, log off. Maybe come to a raid every now and then if people need help. Buying for enchants and shit...
I dunno, always told em it was pointless but never really cared, it's not like the goldsellers actually have a negative effect on WoW other than the spam.
The funny part is how much of the gold sold comes from people selling arena stuff and dumping the mass gold off to ige.
The only negative effect I can imagine is AH manipulation really. But then again, I know a few "legit" people who make their gold through similar means (esp in the no deposit required enchanting mats section) as it's really quite simple with addon help.
I tend to stay away from that practice, seems a little shady and bad karma-ish. But really with two gathering profs. or a gathering alt there's no need to bother with shit like that or gold buying anyway.
my guild leader buys gold to buy herbs to make flasks I think
All that gold to buy runed orbs. BiS belts using 6 is shitty.
I just started last week, and had money left over from selling ffxi. Decided I'd buy 1000G to get me started (thinking I wouldn't have to farm while learning the game like in ffxi).
I'm currently level 22 and I have 1005G
dumbest $10 I've spent...
honestly youll use it on level 60 mount at least. costs 540g for exalted plus 90g for the actual mount haha. most of the money spent in the game is on repairs, dual spec and mounts.
ive never bought gear aside from boe bracers which i could have waited but had the cash to throw.
