I came home from work to find myself dced. Whole connection might have dropped since a few other things had been disconnected as well.
It does seem like I've been getting disconnected from FFXI a lot more than usual lately though.

What routers do you guys use? I'm on Comcast with a Linksys wired router, and I get R0'd a lot. When I turn the firewall off the router, the problem disappears.
Linksys using wired. Firewall turned off.
Now while I'm not getting very many cases where I completely dc and none where I can't log right back on, I know that this R0 spike thing is not limited to any one ISP. For the last few weeks everyone I know has been experiencing random R0's. I know there is a problem on SE's side, perhaps certain isp's, routers and other network devices are better or worse at handling these and just boot you right out.
Well I'm not saying that there isn't a comcast issue, as this seems far worse than what I've heard about but it's defiantly not helping the problems.
/em hides under a rock.
<< works at Comcast.
I am at work now and also have comcast with a personal linksys router and have not had any issue. (Nashville, TN)
