    Setting up a network

Well I just bought a brand new hard drive ( I tried to ghost earlier and it failed horribly ;o)

Anyway I'm trying to set up my network connection and it doesnt want to. I've done the wizard 10 times and it doesnt show up as a local area connection and wireless like it doesn't before and I'm trying to set it up and it's not working out so well

Anyone know what i'm doing wrong

Sounds like it might be a problem with a missing network card driver. Open up Device Manager and see if anything is missing or disabled.

really? right click on my computer and hit properties, go to the hardware tab and hit device manager on the top, report back any yellow "!"s you see or red "X"s

Alternatively - hold the start button (windows button, between left Ctrl and Alt, usually) and type in "devmgmt.msc" in the Run dialog box that comes up.
