Lv Cap question

Prolly very stupid question, idk, but since a while when you're higher lv than the lv cap battle you're about to enter (like BCNM) you don't lose your gear anymore it seems. I mustve missed the update note that mentioned this but anyways question is: does your gear get synced like level sync to that level (even though there is no icon of it) ? Or does it give absolutely nothing but just you wearing it without any stat gain?

I wouldn't trust Ashokan's words without some strict testing of his hypothesis.

its works exactly as described by ashokan, tested in BCNM40 under observation, blu friend went in w/ relic and fought with it.. no PCC tho ;.;

Your gear is adjusted to NQ gear of that LV. You'll get some of the stats for a piece of gear for a given level cap, but not all.
