so THINKING of going back to WoW...guild adoptions? (alliance) :)

So we did the 10 day trial finally for Lich King...and it's been kinda fun. Thinking about coming back to WoW maybe (not as a Death Knight, though we want to play around with them on the side).

Been playing with fiance and two friends on various MMOs for almost 7 years now, and all of us have played WoW in the past, though it's been forever, so might still have newb questions. (Still trying to remember my way around Orgrimmar took me 20 minutes to remember where arrows were for my twink lol)

Basically seeing if there's any guilds out there that might take us in that fit for us.

Looking for:

Alliance Guild
PVP Server (<3 to pvp)
Raids are PST time (friends are EST but have no lives/no jobs)


We'd be starting lvl 1 characters so it would be an invite on a social basis to start, but we want to raid when we get to endgame, so trying to prepare ahead with the raid times thing (i.e. don't want to join an est guild, then have to leave once 80 since can't make raid times).


If none are available we'll probably roll on a random server and try our luck there. Anyone know any servers that actually DO pvp raids n' stuff? Doubtful I know, though it used to be like that way ass back in the day when WoW first came out.

There is quite a few good Alliance guilds on Illidan CST. I know Risen is best ranked Alliance guild on the server, and I believe there in the top 10 US. Could consider checking it out.

Risen transfered to Ner'zhul just before 3.1. From what I've heard they have disbanded or at least ceased raiding due to losing raiders.

You guys fail @ not having ally guilds.

Also, twinks today fail. Used to have a hardcore 19 twink guild <Cakes> back in the day. Been messing around with it today. They nerfed my pet to make it worthless (pig) so I need to find a 19 spider, I barely remembered how to play, there's I guess new gear you get in 80 raids you can trade to your twink. Two of my enchants got nerfed (chest piece +100 health and legs 30+ stam and 10+ agi no longer seem to work), and those glyph things.


Against all that, I am still doing top dmg against those that have all that shit. By 5k +

And I wasn't even a "top" member in my guild back in the day.


Makes me a little sad.

Well turns out some of the leaders from my WAR guild made a guild in WoW (to get a head start incase WAR just dies). Works perfectly cause they alliance pvp XD

Still would have been fun grouping up with some FF peeps, but at least it's a group I know, and they're very competent people/leaders.

wafik, you should make all naked party dancers come to quel'dorei and we'll merge the greatest alliance guild ever known imo. (gawd it's annoying to get ppl for a PVE ally guild <_<; )

fixed. If all raids took were hunters, warriors, rogues and DKs then there'd be no problems recruiting for alliance guilds. I've powered my priest from 20-68 over the last two weeks to solve the problem of my rogue getting zero invites four weeks running.
