As long as we're on the topic...

I'm dating this girl now who just recently started back on the pill (like 2-3 weeks now? I dunno). We're still save and use condoms and all that, but last night one broke and I didn't notice, seriously, durex sensithin is the fucking shit, it honestly didn't feel like I was wearing one, I had to keep checking to make sure I was, I just had bad luck and it popped during orgasm....

ANYWHO, we got her plan B this morning, and I was wondering if anyone knows exactly what it can do to her cycle and all that.

Can it swim up through the intestines, to the digestive track, then to the uterus too?

So yeah, if you think right after her period is a dangerous time to get her pregnant, you're a tard.

I never had an issue with the Plan B and my cycle. You no longer need to use protection after the 7 day mark with most birth control pills.

Really? Sweet. I always heard it takes like a month to kick in. Either way, better safe than sorry.

Exactly what I said except you used the right words. Except I don't know what sloughing means.
You also missed the explanation on the first page.

Don't listen to just one woman. Christ.

My girlfriend took Plan B twice so far (just to be safe; the condom came off) and it made her periods come either a week earlier or a week later.

It can have varying effects because Levonorgestrel itself is a high-dosage of hormones. It will either extend, reduce, or even eliminate the menstrual cycle altogether and only has like an 87% success rate (because it only saturates the vagina with mucus to catch the sperm, it does not kill the sperm).

Anyway, it doesn't take any time to kick in. Women usually feel the effects within an hour of taking it.

You did not say the exact same thing. You are thinking of the ovum (or the ova, eggs) that are dying. The ovaries release these ova into the fallopian tubes where they travel to the uterus. This is called ovulation.

Right after ovulation, whether the lining of the uterus is thickened or not, hormones and neurotransmitters are released which promote growth should the ovum become fertilized and implantation take place. If this does not happen, the ovum dies (usually within 24-48 hours) and the lining of the uterus is forced out through peristaltic contractions. This is call menstruation.

You're a tard if you think that ovulation and menstruation are always linked. A woman can ovulate at any time of the month (yes, even while on her period, this is especially common in younger women and women in their 30s). Generally, it happens about 10-14 days after the cycle begins (in other words, the day she starts to bleed is the day her cycle begins). Sperm can last up to six days (some can last longer) once deposited into the vagina.

Now, if your pre-schooling can allow you to keep up by this point, you should be able to do the math. If you wait until the day after her period ends (day #6, for those not following) then that means you have roughly 4-8 days before she may ovulate. This is called her fertile window.

Now subzero, I know you're no idiot, so you can surely do the math.

Because you probably didn't, you should be able to see that if her period is over and she has 4-8 days before ovulation, and sperm lasts up to 6-7 days, and taking into account that the day after her period would be day #6 (or #7, depending on the cycle), that means sperm can stay in her body up until day #12-14, placing it in her fertile window (obviously depending on her cycle).

Which means, if you have been following, that days 6-15 are the worst times you can have sex without a condom (during a normal cycle) and assume there is no risk involved. There is always a risk.

How is that not what I said? By the way I do not mean ovulation I mean when they die. Fuck am I going to need to draw what I meant?

EDIT: Don't put too much faith in me, I can understand lots of stuff but assuming I want to is wrong. Call me simple jack.

You said that the ovaries themselves die. Body organs don't just die then come back to life.
