Dell S2209W Flat Panel Monitor
That one?
id say this is the best deal out of all of them.
its got a sleek design, a nice response time and an ok contrast ratio. but you got the 1920 x 1080 resolution, which is important for future games coming out if you want to play it in its full specs or a decent resolution. thanks for the heads up. im def good take advantage of this one.
all i need now is a good video card that can run games like crysis with 1920 x 1080 above 29 FPS![]()
Wasn't it pointed out in an older thread that if you buy a 1080 max horiz. resolution monitor for your PC you're basically getting ripped off? 1920 x 1200 or you're buying a midget monitor was the chant I kept hearing.
The 1080 would be vertical, not horizontal
But yeah, you're just gonna want to go x1050 like Akiyama said. Just don't get any of that glossy shit. You'll punch yourself in the dick.
The x1080 will make games that run in 1680x1050 look shitty in fullscreen, and it'll make some games that don't have a 1900x1080 resolution not display properly (might have black lines).
I got one of these and can't be happier, Newegg.com - Acer H233Hbmid Black 23" 5ms HDMI Full HD 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 40000:1 (ACM) Built in Speakers - LCD Monitors
Looks like BenQ got out of the monitor business, but they were one of the best.
Newegg.com - BenQ G2400WD Black 24" 5ms, 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 DC 4000:1(1000:1) - LCD Monitors is what I'm currently using.
I'd stick to Samsung/HannsG/Dell, most the other brands are garbage.
Hardforums are pretty good place to get opinions on the best display
