10 mins!
10 mins!
I like the show, but counting it down only hurts meLets me know theres only 10 minutes left of the epicness that is Lost.
I never got into Lost so I'm waiting for it to be over already and get to the good stuff.
Last week's episode sucked. Very badly acted and very silly. I hope tonight's is better.
My goodness.. is it just me, or does the CG work progressively worse with each episode? This shit is AWFUL. I love the show, but some of the work is just...so...terrible.
YOU WERE ADOPTED. LOLS.
Long live the 5th Column! Another solid episode. As I said earlier the only thing I really disliked was the CG. I don't know what was worse. The interior of the V ships, or the submarine last year on Lost.
Tosh.0 has better green screen graphics.
Also; YUM, blue tea!
WTF it just went to the news as they had georgie on the table :/
I was hoping for a better message... not just john may livessomething like a grand speech to get everyone on their side.
Thought it was a solid episode as well, but yeah.. the CG was pretty horrible for the most part. Special effects are good, but the Blue/Green screen stuff has gone down in quality (its only so noticeable cause of how much the show relies on CGI backgrounds).
I felt it would of been better if they showed Georgie getting killed instead of plotting a rescue attempt. Think he is one of the weaker main characters so would be a good end... even though his attempt to rescue Ryan seemed forced and "cheap."
But wtf is up w/ that booster (forgot the name of the item Ryan picked up on the V ship), is it supposed to turn Valerie into a V? I'm assuming she cant have an abortion because of the type of baby it is
Probably an addiction to it.
This show has some of the worst acting lol.
I'm sure phosphorous is regulated to some degree, but would it really be easier to sneak aboard the V ship than to just get some on Earth somewhere?
but really, an abortion would probably be better anyway. but I guess maybe she can't have one? they haven't really explored that angle. not like it matters, no woman in her right mind would stay with an alien after he lied to her and impregnated her. of course, with the way this show is written, I wouldn't be surprised if she does.
and yeah, the acting isn't that good. the plotlines are laughably transparent, and some of the specific plot points are just ridiculous. but I still enjoy it for being a cheesy sci-fi show with lots of drama.
and by god, that scene with the scours... I wanted to die just watching.
You can't get addicted to phosphorus lol. It was meant that once she started the phosphorus supplements there would be no turning back vis-a-vis the pregnancy.
I think its more that getting organic phosphorus that is stable might be harder on Earth, but really they just need a plot device to get him aboard the V ship and if Ronald Moore's comments about how Star Trek: TNG scripts got written is to be taken as being truthful (basically they write the episodes and then pay a science consultant to make the shit sound plausible afterwards) I would assume that this is just an example of that.
haha that sounds about right. so much of what happens in this show I just have to say "uh yeah, plot device."
normally I'd completely hate on a show like this, but for some reason I find V entertaining. probably because I only watch it when I'm too baked to care about the ridiculous logic flaws.
I'm only watching it cause of hot MILFyness. Can't wait for the inevitable anna/juliet fiction (its kind of sad that I still don't know any characters name but John May and Anna but I'd say same is true for most)

I think the V's are the best actors, but maybe it's because they don't need to show any emotional depth? I like the reporter guy, what's-his-name, but the main rebel cast (outside the new guy) isnt that good
