V is renewed!! season 2 inc!
http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment...second-season/
awesome, would have sucked to end the story with all this tension.
Just caught up on the last 2 episodes last night. They were much better, but doesn't seem like enough buildup for the season finale.. unless they are gonna be leaving w/ a giant cliffhanger regarding Hobbs and Decker or something, seems like to much to explain in one episode
The olympics screwed this show up from the beginning. I would say a lot of people who watched beginning stopped doing so because of the lengthy hiatus. Season 2 will be last.
finale was meh.
Seeing Anna react that way was great though, although Jack's speech was ENTIRELY out of place. 1 whole season too early imo.
Wish the old preist would just go lizard man on the crew already, hes overstayed his welcome and we all know hes V.
Hobbes' backstory needs to be told sometime, that kind of teasing isn't fun.
You would think a grenade going off inside the ship would set off SOME kind of alarm too.
and major rage at only a lizard tail. seriously not cool.
I thought it was pretty good.
Old priest speech was probably meant to show just how many people are on the side of the Vs now. They'll probably do another one in a season or two for contrast.
Ugh, hate the lack of intelligence they're giving the Vs. Really, no security for shit on the mothership. Hey Chad, come watch our free torture show. It's right through this unguarded and unlocked door. Hey guys, come infilitrate our ship, we have no security cameras and the ones we do have on everyone's coat, we don't use. What's that, we caught a 5th column member on the mothership and he was in charge of testing all the other Vs for emotional responses to weed out other 5th column members? That's ok, leave him in a cell all by himself with no one guarding him.
I've never seen a smart lizard, so it makes sense to me.
I watched the last ep but missed about 2 others... so the doc is alive again... and the black dude is now on the v's side once more? And now anna has human emotions... <_>;
really i don't think the writers include logic in the Vs daily routine, must be a human only thing.
With Lost over i may or may not decide to watch V when its scheduled anymore. They really need to step up the writing if they wanna get renewed to season 3.
I thought Anna experiencing human emotion was rather creepy.. and how she was then after vengeance. Was a nice touch. But yeah, Black dude going back to the V's was a bit stupid.. and Chad now knows whats up because he is given free reign into the super secret activities... wut?
and I'm sorry, but why the hell does every show have to do the super lame giant explosion w/ ppl jumping to escape it at the end. shit is so lame I can't even begin to describe. But overall I liked the episode and thought it was a decent cliffhanger. I'm mostly curious in how Anna will continue to react since she has developed anger and sorrow type emotions. But wtf was w/ that smile on Marcus as he revived Joshua
The extraordinary lack of security when the ship was supposed to be "locked down" did bother me too, but it's possible that the V's have an intelligence hierarchy like the aliens in District 9 did. If there's only a handful of noble class smart V's per ship it would explain things a bit more; when Marcus left the ship security became non-existent because if he's not actively running it everyone else is too stupid to step up. It would also explain why the V's will just take a pill to prove loyalty that kills them, etc.
Anna's about face into getting pissed her babies died seemed pretty shallow considering she crushed one in her fist a few weeks ago too, not to mention beating her daughter who's pretty likely more important than the faceless soldiers. Sometimes I feel they just decide what they want to show instead of trying to get a logical flow of events. I thought they were setting up to kill the eggs with the fungus that Erica pocketed, but apparently that wouldn't have been a big enough explosion.
Also, totally called it that killing the exceptional soldier the babies were based off of was a bad idea.
Great, the hot chick's 1st emotion is pure hate towards the human race....
I need to go back a few eps and catch up...
dunno why im spoiling this but might as well;
Spoiler: show
I think Marcus smiling was because he knows he has Joshua by the sack. I think Marcus was upset that Anna upset their plans and displaying such a strong emotion. I think Marcus plans on doing something about it, or to at least control it. Maybe to start his own scheme.
