Lisa's smirk when Anna got pissed was the best part of the episode.

Yeah I saw that too. lol
I took it as Marcus is apart of 5th column.
Wonder what the red sky will do..... just block out the sun and kill plants or something? I was halfway expecting to see some major killing spree go on like in war of the worlds.
maybe they'll do it like halo covenant did it![]()
baby should have been totally revealed. lame
otherwise it was fantastic. so many awesome moments. Val dying, Erica killing Joshua, MARCUS REVIVING JOSHUA?! and of course Anna losing it was great, especially when she asks "what's... happening... to meeeee?!" between that and Lisa's smile, easily the best scene of the episode... well, maybe. it's between that and the red sky.
yeah, there was a huge lack of logic, but that's V's calling card. they favor drama over logic, every time. it makes for some really cheesy fun TV, which is all V ever really amounts to.
I'm curious to see what's up with Marcus. if I remember correctly, didn't he tell Anna that Joshua was dead? could mean that he's purposefully deceiving her by reviving him. but even if that's true, it doesn't mean he's sympathetic to the Fifth Column - one plotline I could see them pursuing is Marcus taking the reigns from Anna now that she has experienced human emotion.
I dislike how quickly he accepted that anna didn't kill Val...
or did he?
that's one of the few things V's writing does extremely well, they're awesome with ambiguity. Lisa was an excellent example of this for most of the season, as was Chad, Hobbes to an extent, and now even Marcus.
on the other hand, you could be right, because one thing V is extremely bad about is characters that play dumb for sake of the plot. like, if EVERYONE on this board has already figured out that the priest is a V, why does it seem like Jack doesn't even suspect him?
Well, he accepted her "bliss" @ point blank range so I imagine it'd be a lot stronger. So i don't think he had much of a choice.
oh hmm. I hadn't thought of that.
god I really want to know what the deal is with him reviving Joshua now. please don't let it be something as boring as "they revived him so they could torture him for info." I'll be so disappointed.
and yeah Ryan did fall prey to the up close and personal Bliss. but I still think he'll come around. hopefully.
My theory is they revived Joshua to find out who his accomplice was.
I thought that this last episode was really well written. All of the characters felt like they had their own purposes and functions which all worked well together. And the story wound up advancing their characters in interesting ways.
Spoiler: show
But this was a strong and well integrated finale. I'm eager to see next season. I hope they don't go with a full on blatant war scenario. That would just make the show another sci-fi series. What is interesting about V is the scheming and deception of the Visitors versus the struggle for the resistance to do what's right.
Has a second season been confirmed?
Thought the finale was great, and I'll be pissed if they decide to can it![]()
