One of the latest episodes really pushed things ahead by blowing shit up/killing some people off. Also in the latest ep they finally give some fleshing out of why the Vs are there and want the humans. Right now there's a sense this season is heading toward the rest of the V fleet approaching and landing on Earth.

The damn subplot with Tyler being pushed away from his mother has always been the weakest part of the show. But he finally just left and now Erica is sort of like, 'whatever'. So at least there's less focus on that atm.

There better be a 3rd season... That season finale was no joke. Don't think I've ever seen so much fucked up shit happen in a season finale. Hell, I don't even know how Erica & all of them can fight back, seems pretty one sided at this point.

- HAHAHAHA DIE TYLER! DIEEEEEEEE!!!
- Anna sneaking up on Diana was such a fucking joke, there are so many reasons that never would have happened. but this show has always been willing to play fast and loose with logic for a cheap plot twist
- speaking of horrible writing, I've been meaning to say this for a few episodes: it's seriously that easy for Lisa to run into Diana's hiding spot, and at the perfect moment plot-wise no less?
- trusting Lisa to kill Anna was fucking stupid
- oh for god's sake there's a secret organization that's even more secret than the fifth column that has barely been hinted at and suddenly shows up in the last episode, are you fucking kidding me? foreshadowing people. use it.
- Amy killing Ryan was awesome and one of the highlights of the episode, unexpected yet it fit the plot well (you had to wonder if she was going to come home with him after the relationship she developed with Anna), one of the few examples of brilliant writing so far on this show.
- all in all this shit is still fantastic popcorn fodder and I hope it gets continued despite my intense hatred of the writers
- oh and last but not least, I call bullshit on the bunker being able to protect people from Bliss

Just the mid-season break, I think, but no word on when they resume the season. Whoever standardized the mid-season break needs to be beaten. They're even going to do it to Doctor Who in Britain this season... All it does to the American shows I like is kill them off by having people find other shows to watch and they forget about the one on break, especially if it changes air times or days after the break.

No, V is only done in 12 episode seasons. So this was in fact it for the year. It's actually up in the air to get renewed as well. The ratings are pretty bad. It's not the best show. It's not even good, but it is somewhat entertaining.
