haha yeah I saw the resemblance, but I knew him from party of 5 ~
was looking around imdb and from the original series trivia:
"On 30 October 1982, Dominique Dunne, who had been signed to play the role of Robin Maxwell, was at her house with co-star David Packer going over lines for the next day's filming, when her boyfriend John Sweeny arrived unexpectedly and throttled Dunne into a coma. Five Days later, on 4 November 1982, Dunne died. Blair Tefkin was cast to replace Dunne as Robin and all of the scenes that had been shot with the late actress were re-filmed. According to the DVD commentary, however, Dunne is still visible from the back in one group scene that occurs as the Visitors arrive on earth."
Maybe he thought she was a V.
The proper is out on megavideo, and thus on ninjavideo.
I thought it was ok. Need to see a few more episodes though before I know for sure.
Odd watching Alpha from Dollhouse as a normal guy in this
edit: ok yeah I posted that while i was only half way through the show lol
Not anymore haha
I liked it but I also thought this. There was no mystery involved, they pretty much answered so much in the first episode... so now they prepare for a war or something. I enjoyed it none-the-less, just don't see why they had to explain everything so fast unless its intended to only be a mini-series
The way I saw it, since its a new series half the shit was already spoiled. I never saw the original but I already knew what the Vs were because of people talking about it. So there wouldn't have been a real "shocking" revelation to 70% of the audience watching. Just drawn out episodes.
We already knew the Vs have an agenda and they're actually reptiles, but the characters didn't. I would've appreciated at least a few episodes of dramatic tension before everyone is in on it, especially if they showed the audience Wash was a V(like what happened with Charlie on Fringe for fans of that show). There's only 4 episodes before they break until freaking March, why not make that episode the "reveal?"
As said though, although a remake they will most likely try to add their own twist and branch off from being a straight remake. Having the characters be surprised is a lot less important then having the viewers be surprised. Rather then stringing us along with something we already know, might as well get that out of the way and hit us with something we don't.
Personally I liked the pacing and would've been one of those bitching if they hadn't made the revelation quickly.
Lost is doing the same thing because of the Olympics.
Its good, though the line where they said "You mean they want to provide UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE" made me facepalm, it felt like a line they added in to make sure their show was super topical. I also yelled when Wash died.
2+ weeks in February (12th-28th)
So how are they spinning her partner thing. Was he a V all along or did he take over the body when she went inside the warehouse.
