question:- for THF ws damage, stacked with sneak attack only, would amemet mantle+1 get more damage than commander's cape? similarly, would dex rings be better for ws+sa? or would str rings result in higher damage?

For SA+WS, amemet +1 would out damage commander's cape "in most situations" and also dex rings always give a higher number for both SA+WS and SA. However Cuchulain's > all, save for it and u'll never have to choose.

Answered already in another thread but yes, to summarise:

Commander's Cape is never good for anything but soloSA/TA in VERY high attack situations (the kind you wouldn't bother gearing specifically for), likewise Mandalic Stab under the same conditions. Assassin's Cape is a little bit closer.

DEX > STR for THF WSs generally always unless on Mercy Stroke.

Point for point, Dex > Str for unstacked Dancing Edge?

(I just changed two pieces of my solo DE set to gain -9Dex -4Att +9Str +5Acc, so I'm curious, when acc is capped if 9Dex 14Att will beat 9Str 10Att.)

30% ws mod puts 4 dex at .9somethin DMG and 4 str is 1 dmg, get acc from dex attack from str acc > attack. Dex > str

But if Capped Acc, the Dex gives only the 0.9 DMG, so STR wins? Good to know, thanks.

Most of the time, that DEX will give you more damage; it's just unlucky adding there (note you won't start from 0dex 0chr)!

Remember daggers have a very low fSTR cap, so if you do stack STR a lot of it is going to be wasted. DEX in the form of WSC never caps.

Hmmm I see... Could you help me with my solo DE set in that case?
Ass Bonnet, Love Torque, Delta/Brutal, Rog. Vest +1, Enkidu's Mittens, Flame/Rajas, Amemet+1, Warwolf, Dusk Trousers, Rutter Sabatons.

It used to be Dragon Harness and Enkidu's Leggings, but I swapped it as mentioned above for +9Str -9Dex +5Acc -4Att.
Capped Dagger merits. Don't use Thf on as much as I'd like, pretty much just Nyzul atm =/. It still needs a lot of work aswell.
I know what I need to buy etc, but I'm wondeirng if that's the best I can do for now? (Other stuff available: DHarness, OHat, Sniper's, Triumph Earring, Life Belt, Enki Leggings, Galliard Trousers).

Well, you'd want to mix and match sets based on mob; Nyzul stuff is pretty weak. In general though, from what you've given;

Daggers/XbowCoreBomblet
O Hat/Torque/Delta/Brutal
Rog+1/Enkidu/Sniper/Rajas
Amemet+1/Warwolf or Life... Potent is nice/Dusk/Enkidu

Belt is the tough one; Warwolf is hard to give up cause it's so strong offensively but also doesn't have much accuracy. I'd just make multiple DE macros but I don't know if you like micromanaging that much

Befor I swapped in Rutters/Rog+1, I used to have Ass Bonnet+Warwolf Macrod into WS set but then put Life+Ohat in on top (and just // them if I didn't need).

I guess I could make 2 W sets based on mob eva. I have two TP sets anyway.
