I read it at 9, god I'm a retard (although I stopped with 200 pages left when that one badguy was killed because I thought they were just gonna walk home for 200 pages -- f that)

Dude, scourging of the Shire MAKES the fucking book. Not just saying that cause of "lol books greater than movie" BS.
I made forts out of sheets in my living room a couple years ago. A friend from Counter Strike/FFXI came over and we had to celebrate or something!
I would always use a table tennis table to build forts out of. If anyone had those wooden rubber band guns when they were a kid those tables made good bases too.

I don't think I was savant style speedy in it but I think I could picture it easily in my mind and do it the same way as you learned on paper. I'm not sure if I was ever really taught math in elementary until maybe grade 7. Kindergarten I was given a algebra book and no one even explained to me what the letters were.
Quiet yet always had a small (4~5 people) group of friends. I haven't changed a bit either.
I loved music when I was a kid, and I'd lock myself in a room and listen to whatever was on the radio. I would sometimes change the station and listen to something foreign like Latin or French music, and I would try to imitate what they were saying by writing down what I think was the word (i.e: bleu = blue to me). When I grew up I had a habit of accepting anything and everything as equal. I never had any racist or homophobic thoughts, so my complete openness made me "weird" to a lot of people. An example of this would be finding out a guy in 8th grade was gay. When someone mentioned that to me, I said "well good for him" in a non-sarcastic way. Everyone instantly assumed I accepted it purely for the fact that I was gay as well. It didn't bother me though, none of that stuff ever has or will.
I was also very insecure about looks when I was young. I'd always try to dress, act, and perform at my fullest potential to try and impress strangers. I dropped that BAD (fucking terrible way to live your life) habit early into High School.
All-in-all I'm happy how I raised myself and what I am now ;o.
I was more of a memorize 30 digits and recite them backwards kind of a kid.
I saw some savant documentary and it had a piece on how some kids are fake savants in that they do the math super fast but they are actually doing math and not just knowing the number. There were these asian kids using abacuses really really fast and then the good ones would just visualize using the abacus in their head and would just twitch their fingers. I'm sure some of them can just visualize the entire abacus and movement/calculation without even moving their fingers and do those ridiculous multiplication shit. It would be pretty cool to do that I think.
Asian chicks most likely.
Childhood was reguler childhood shit, except I never owned a NES. I listened to Micheal Jackson and stuff.
Young teens was garage punk bands and angst and dumb shit but alot of older girlfriends and being like a drug-smoking school-skipping motorcycle rebel kid... With no motorcycle. And I've always been rather polite.
Young adulthood currently made of soft drug abuse and video games and self-loathing.
This shit is so LiveJournal.
