Could be Simon.
Brilliant psychopath, the reference used to burn Michael... sounds like to sort of guy Kendrick would either use or eliminate.

Some epic shit coming up in those last 2 episodes.

dang just saw that next episode is in 2 weeks gonna be a long wait![]()
Well, I half-called it. Didn't expect Simon working for the CIA.
EDIT: Finished the episode and HOLY FUCK.
You're telling me the castoffs from his beloved agency forming a clandestine group and burning him doesn't shake him, finding out his own trainer was part of that group while working for the CIA and then killing his brother didn't shake him... but employing Simon Escher? That's what makes Michael go rogue?
WTF Mike.
I just interpret it as him wanting to believe in 'muricuh, but after basically being fucked for the third time, he finally came to the conclusion the system is rotten. As is, he's in a shitty situation where refusing the government gets his friends in jail or worse. And if he doesn't play nice with James, the rest of his family goes splat and probably the gang, too. Ultimately, I don't really see him going rogue so much as wanting to reset the system, but you're not really going to do that in two episodes beyond killing James and his new handler to ideally free up himself and his friends/family.
Unless I missed it we still don't know what james big plan are ?
I just hope they don't kill michael to end the show, feel like they could do much more with James/sonia crew, too bad it's ending in 2 episodes, I really enjoyed this season.
i knew mike was gonna turn as soon as whatshisface said he hired an outside team. they've been leading up to it for a while, with mike always narrating about how you have to actually care about the people youre betraying
not sure where theyre gonna go with it though.
really disappointed its ending but man these episodes have been awesome.
i also hope they dont just kill Michael because the show is ending, that would be a pretty shitty thing to do.
I agree in the hopes that Michael doesn't die. But I will be surprised if that doesn't happen. This type of story typically doesn't have a happy ending.
my god so good,
that last scene:

I agree with CCL. Althought that'll kill the spinoff episode of "Mike and Fi's wedding" i'm sure they're planning
Those two are toxic. They can't be with each other but they can't be with anyone else either. Tragic relationship.
