If you have to pop the zit, be sure that your hands and face are clean. The whitehead is a collection of pus, which is caused by a bacterial infection. Once you pop it, clean it again and put some Neosporin on it to prevent scarring and for quick healing. If you're going to pop your zit, DO NOT do it with your fingers. That's an excellent way to create scarring and a nasty after-mark. Find a needle (like on a safety pin, thumbtack, or just a regular pinning sewing needle) and run it under hot water for 30 seconds. Make sure your face (in that area) is wet and moist as well. Prick the spot and use the needle to flow whatever is in there out. Rinse off the needle and your face and leave that area alone.

Other than that, don't touch your hands to your face (ever), and stay hydrated.

Well keep in mind that when you are on it you are closely monitored. So its not some shit you get a scrip for and show up to the doctor a year later to get evaluated.

In most cases they draw blood and do thorough check ups once or twice a month depending.

oh yeah, the blood draws were fun. once every month/every other month at the least. and you have to watch what you eat because that shit will make your cholesterol skyrocket, even if it's normally good. but it's worth it.

If you have a really bad inflamed pimple you can try putting ice on it for long periods of times (with break intervals to prevent frostbite).
Then once it's frozen, put some peroxide on it (the ice will shrink the inflamed pimple, but skin will be damaged a lil).
After you use peroxide on the frozen spot, It'll burn like hell, so put on some ALOE VERA (clear substance) on it.
Once the Aloe dries, use Neosporin or some Antibacterial Vaseline on it.
I do this when I get cold sores, and it goes away a lot faster than when you use any sort of medications or creams.
